Also if I try to post basic html for a link with the text for the link followed by it (regardless of whether I'm just typing it in the space or using the code tab), the html still isn't recognized when I preview the post. I liked the ability to type in the link name followed by the actual link on the previous version of the site. An example would be <a href="http://www.insertlinknamehere.com">Insert Link Text Here</a> When I go to the preview post it still looks like that.

I just tried to post an I/A and I get an error as soon as I post and I see the topic posted but there's no content in it despite me having content in it. Can you delete the 2 i/a's posted in the Regional thread about the Waterbury, CT fire? I posted it in the wrong forum anyways (I missed the New England one and am re-posting in that one as is the proper forum). I can't report either of those 2 i/a's in the regional thread for deletion.

I just tried to post about a structure fire in Waterbury, CT and it won't work either.

Here's a full run down on that as well. The IA posted on emtbravo wasn't fully updated. http://nycfire.net/forums/index.php/topic,15371.0.html?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter

It's even tougher when you don't have strobes in the ceiling to use and holes in the glass like they do in the NHL.

First things that came to mind when I saw these pics were clean and classy. Gorgeous rig.

Unfortunately it sounds like it was a pretty complicated job for FDNY. http://www.nypost.co...%20%20Manhattan

Droid Razr Maxx has the best battery life and performance of any smart phone on the market. RIM just announced that they're going to be getting out of the consumer market and strictly catering to business from here on out. Trying to compete with Apple and Android is simply killing them.

After reading an article on how there's a total of 4 female fire chiefs in the state of Connecticut, it got me thinking about how people feel about being in a department (career or volly) with the chief or an officer being a female. Does this present an issue and cause problems or do you not care what sex the officer/chief is? Do you feel like you have to watch how you act/what you say when on the job? Also does anybody know how many female chiefs there are in NY, if any? No disrespect meant to anyone here, just curious to see people thoughts.

UStream for those who are still up, the test rockets are getting ready to be fired shortly. They're being elevated as I write this. It looks like there's a chance this will be a go finally

Best of luck to her and your family.

NASA managers have given a "go" for a countdown leading to the launch of the five suborbital sounding rockets early in the morning March 27 on a science mission that will briefly create a milky white cloud that may be visible to a large portion of the U.S. east coast. The launch window for the mission will be between 2 and 5 a.m. on Tuesday, March 27. The countdown will begin at 9 p.m. Monday, March 26. Clear skies are predicted for the Tuesday launch. However, ground level winds may exceed the allowable limits for the flights to occur. Web Cast and Ustream will begin at 10 p.m. Monday, March 26.
