  1. Great stuff there man, I like how you crop a lot of those images. Just gotta increase your shutter speed a bit on some of the images of them marching.
  2. Update: All photos are now up on my photo page.
  3. Beats me,, your guess is as good as mine. I would keep updating it if I could.
  4. I have/had an I/A posted for the High Park fire. I would keep updating it if I could but after a certain period of time, you can't edit anymore. I had been posting updates to it for a week or 2.
  5. I'm about 3/4 done watermarking and am in the process of throwing up whatever images I have done to my photo page. If people are interested they can head on over and check em out. Sorry they're so delayed, super backed up and super busy the last month and a half! http://www.facebook.com/thewestchesterscenephotography - Jimmy
  6. The only actual parade I've been to where they use their sirens, airhorns and or the Q is Yorktown. They primarily just have their lights on, at least with the majority of the parades I've been to.
  7. Don't forget Golden's Bridge, they had a bit of a hike but again... not all that far.
  8. Do you have any photo editing software or microsoft paint? Or I can just save it to my computer, rotate it for you and send it back to you. It literally takes 10 seconds to do.

  10. I still can't add the media clip into the text box. It always posts at the hyperlink or html but here's links to my videos of the parade. I posted the first 6 links. There's a total of 11. You can find the rest of them on youtube by following the links. http://youtu.be/kNt7jxMh3WY?hd=1 http://youtu.be/w-_MNLXR0vQ?hd=1 http://youtu.be/0dyRFyHo3pk?hd=1 http://youtu.be/xavRnpssQMY?hd=1 http://youtu.be/tOhhOVHowUc?hd=1
  11. No idea, they didn't do it for the Ossining parade either. I guess that's just not their thing?
  12. Best appearing Ladder went to Port Chester for Ladder 31. Mahopac won Best Overall
  13. Lol, it's entirely possible that it may just exist in my head and not in real life.
  14. I know that's monitor's. I thought they had an actual rig, I might be making it up though.
  15. Below are photos of the Cataract Hose 1937 American LaFrance that was in service from 1937-1957, a pair of original hose carts used by Ossining and Monitor Hoses and the old Ladder 41 from Senate Hook & Ladder. I thought I had the Monitor Hose antique engine too but I guess not.
  16. According to the article, the chute deployed normally but then started spinning and such.

  18. Couldn't they just invest in the easy passes for the emergency services? This way they don't have to carry change on them when going through the tolls? If you're responding to an emergency, the cars would move out of your way giving you priority to go through the toll. No? Don't get me wrong, I agree with all of you, this just sounds stupid and is a half step away from blowing up in their faces. I'm just saying, if the "lawmakers" stand their ground and emergency services HAVE to abide by this then could they not do what I asked above?
  19. Not sure, there's reports of it starting under the porch of the first structure or in the living room. It was fully engulfed upon arrival and sounds like it spread from the point of origin to the remainder of the house pretty quick. http://greenburgh.dailyvoice.com/police-fire/elmsford-boy-hero-after-fire-warnings
  20. The owners of both homes were actually home at the time and outside talking to each other when 1 said "Your house is on fire!". Both structures were a total loss and 2 others suffered heat and water damage.
  21. Was surprised to hear Ossining get toned out for that. That came in like 10 minutes after Engine 99 and Tower Ladder 42 went back into service after getting a call in town about an hour earlier. Great images and video both of you. That iphone takes some fantastic quality images for a cell phone. It's amazing what you can get these days with a cell phone.
  22. Lol it's the same spot I'm in for every Ossining parade. Same goes with Montrose, I was in the same spot I was in last year too. lol I have spots marked out based on the landscape. Plus with Ossining, I live 2 blocks away from that area. lol
  23. FINALLY getting to the OFD parade. I'm currently about 70 images in to my editing with over 300 images shot so it'll be a while yet. But in the meantime, here's a few teasers. None of these images are uploaded to the 'net yet. Edit: 100 images down, 237 to go! Edit 6/17: 200 images down 136 to go!
