Paper had said they had 18 ff's. Is that what's considered the norm for WP or is that a lot?
-
In all honesty, I've thought they needed something along the lines of metal detectors long before this. I see very little to no security in Westchester theaters. R.I.P. to all those who lost their lives and thoughts go out to everyone effected by such a horrific tragedy.

Does it come with turbo? ;-)

Seth, I don't know how much help it will be to you but I know Croton Point Park has a section for rv's and campers with electric hookup. I'm not certain about water though. Sorry to hear about your health and financial situation. I hope that your health improves and you are able to make a full recovery. Best of luck to you in your health, finances and in your future. Edit: it does have water hook up as well as electric. Here's a little info on what it offers, while it may not necessarily be at an fd/ems dept, it's something? Not sure if it's of any help to you or not. http://rvparkreviews.com/regions/New_York/Croton_on_Hudson.html

Just heard Ossining won Best Overall. Congrats to Holla Hose. p.s. Nice to see you finally got yourself a working camera.
-
You know how you fix that? Buy a bigger card! lol I have 8 and 16 gig cards. I just shot over 600 images in RAW on my 16 gb while attempting to do a panorama.
-
nice shots, any idea who won?
-
Checking it out now, thanks for the heads up.
-
hmm news to me. Go figure. The bulk of the 5-0 is 60 anyways. It's really just late at night that it becomes primarily ems calls.
-
I know but that's what is listed on radio reference in the short version. Was too lazy to pull the full but since you pointed it out here's a full listing from radioreference.com Left Channel 476.2125 WCDES Trunk North Zone; All WCDES Fire / EMS Talkgroups Right Channel 151.5350 Lewisboro Volunteer Ambulance Corps (LVAC); North Salem VAC (NSVAC) Westchester Emergency Medical Service (WEMS) Dispatch 453.9875 West Co. Don't they all do that? Even radio reference splits it. The EMS frequencies on the right are: Lewisboro Volunteer Ambulance Corps (LVAC); North Salem VAC (NSVAC) Westchester Emergency Medical and the frequencies on the left are: WCDES Trunk North Zone; All WCDES Fire and EMS Talkgroups* *Pulled from Radioreference.com

Pulled from the Washington Post article I linked above.

http://www.washingto...ToOW_story.html The manufacturer filed for bankruptcy in April. Oops, I think I hit MultiQuote there by accident. lol
-
I have mine set to 500 before it alerts me. It sends me an alert for Chicago Police around 10 pm every night. lol Scanner Radio is a fantastic app. I even found the local fire/ems scanner for where I am currently in the middle of nowhere Ontario, Canada.
-
The frequency for Yonkers is Yonkers AND Southern Westchester Fire. It's primarily Yonkers Fire though on radio reference.
-
Give it time for Yonkers. The feed for that frequency has been having major issues for over a month now. It was down for quite a while too but the person is supposedly working on trying to repair it.
-
I agree with everyone else. I don't have an iphone but have some friends who do and use that app. Works very well, you can also tune into anywhere in the world. I, personally, have an android and use a similar app that's slightly better that's also free.

That topic was started and closed long before I joined this site. I didn't even know that was ever a topic. Someone from PCFD told me it was an '82. *Mods, if this has been posted before then please delete this thread. It sounds as if there is an archived/closed thread on this topic already.

Brooksville Engine and Hose Co. Engine 62. *The pic was a still image pulled from the video of the Yorktown Parade, otherwise I would have framed it better for more detail. I also don't have much info on it other than what I have posted.
