I wasn't able to make it. The 2nd game didn't start until 2:30 and by the time I was done (almost 24 gigs later), it wasn't worth heading over.

RIP Chucky I had the pleasure of knowing him and taking photos of him playing football when he played for a semi-pro team called the Westchester Warriors and at several fire parades over the last 2 years. He had just contacted me last week about his upcoming benefit and while he was having a bad day, things were still looking up for him as he had just recently received good news from his doctor(s) regarding his injuries.

Gonna try to make it. I'm shooting 2-3 lacrosse games tomorrow in Danbury, CT so Golden's Bridge can be/is on my way home. I'll see how much memory I have left on my cards.

I'm in a valley and if the wind blows in the right direction, I can hear Briarcliff's tones go off.

Great shots Seth. I'll have photos from Somers and Croton Open Houses up in the near future.

I've seen a couple doing traffic duty on North Broadway with the construction going on at night.

Amphibious vehicles have been around for years. I used to know someone who had an 8 wheeled argo/utv. They're pretty cool and can go from land to water and vice versa with ease. It used to look like the vehicle in this image but unlike this quadski, I'm not sure you could go all that fast. The quadski is a 1 seater so I'm not entirely sure how this would help in the fire service. http://www.argoatv.n..._750_EFI_v3.jpg Edit: Here's some specs of that vehicle. http://www.argoatv.nl/8x8response.html

It's an order issued to members of the NYPD instructing them to let photographers be. Source: http://www.modelmayhem.com/po.php?thread_id=826742&page=1

No, I did but I'm not a ff or emt or anything so I don't have as good of an idea as many of the people on this forum.

So how much of this is actually legit and how much of it isn't?

I visited Yorktown's Open House on Sunday and got some shots of some of their apparatus. In this group we have Engine 273, Ladder 51, the inside of the station looking out and the outside of the station featuring Mohegan Lake's Utility and smoke house.
-
At the very least I'm going to attend Croton and Somers. I may stop by Bedford Hills if I have time but no guarantees.
-
Thanks, I'm aiming to attend Croton/Somers on Sunday too.

Here we have Car 2533, 2531, Engine 270 and Tanker 14. I have a full shot of 2531 that I can't upload. It's been uploading since yesterday. You can go to my photo page to check it out there.

In this post we have Engine 272 with some of its compartments and Rescue 16 with all its compartments..

Great job. I really like the lettering/graphics. Very sharp looking. Good luck to Archville with this!
