I hope to have these for sale ASAP, as soon as I can assure funding.... THe free safety stickers would feature training and safety quote stickers to put in visible locations such as a nozzletip, jumpseat, etc. Pending I can get permisision, they would feature famous slogans from ALSFirefighter, JFLYNN, and more. The campaigns purpose it to make safety reminders fun and interesting. There's also another component to the wristband which I can't yet announce that will be very cool.

Members name removed, but member knows who he is. Really? Banned from the site for his opinions! Funny, I run this site and know for a fact that NO ONE has ever been banned from this site for their opinions. It's usually because they are too ignorant to follow the rules, AND have complete disrespect for the rules, staff or other members on MULTIPLE occasions. The violation has to be SEVERE to be banned.If the preceeding is true, how is this OUR fault? Plese note that posting restrictions, suspension, and bans are three seperate things with multiple levels of action. Also, a lot of members don't know how to post (example- not aware they have to be a Verified Member to post and therefore think they are "banned") Who is this member? This new system will keep track of locations of firehouses, police stations, EMS stations, bars,resturants, stores, training schools, etc. Features the ability for members to submit their own venues to the system, define a 'home' venue, contact all members at a certain venue via either email or PM, define their own personal location, find other forum members near them, and lots of other features. EMTBravo Member's Of The Week Ending January 31st, 2009 are: firecapt32, johnvv, demps121, alsfirefighter, FFDPG, chiefhac This week, I decided to pull executive privilege and select the member, or member(s) of the weeks myself without staff input. Two years ago last Tuesday, an injury at work put an end to my firefighting career, with less then 3 years on the job. (I had served 10 years previous as a volunteer firefighter within another department, as well as a Career Paramedic and a a Fire/EMS Dispatcher, since I started as an explorer at 14 in 1993). Becoming a career firefighter was always my dream and goal in life, and I loved my job, and the department I worked for. I was, and am still, devastated. Thinking about the accident, I thought back to those who made me a true professional firefighter in Fall of 2005. The members above are truly brothers, and Westchester is/was blessed to have them serve. They taught me not only how to be a firefighter, but they taught me many other lessons that I still carry with me to this day. Every time I see geese flying in formation, I remember that wonderful story, along with countless other things that they did that had a tremndous impact on me. Things I never thought I could do I did. They are one of the many inspirations to keep this site going, and to keep making it better. They inspire me to keep learning, to keep achieving. They inspire me to never give up in my career paths wherever it may take me from here. chiefhac is in there because he's the guy who really got me to where I am today, by deciding to take a chance on an Empress EMT and making me 60 Control Dispatcher- 635. Because of that job, I've ammased so many good friends who I'm proud to still have as friends to this day. I'm doing some research here. Many people on this site wish to donate, but don't because they don't like PayPal, which, right now I use exclusively for donations and subscription payments. And often people want to put a check in the mail, but never get around to doing so. So, I'm looking for other alternatives.....do you use Yahoo or Google checkout, or any other methods? I can add these as payment options if enough members use them and would be intersted in an alternative donation.
