So far, thanks to several generous members, we are ALMOST in reach of our fundraising goal of 25% a quarter towards the 2010 Operating costs of this site. We are currently at 20% of what we need for the year. If we get another 5% by the end of March, we will hit our mark for the 1st quarter 2010. Hopefully, we will be able to raise enough money each quarter to cover hosting costs: AS OF TODAY 3-20-10: Gross Donations: 775.00 PayPal Fees: -26.35 Net Donations: 748.65 Total Goals: 3,700.00 Still Needed: 2,951.35 All member donations go towards hosting costs. Members, I'd like our EMTBravo Facebook group to be more active. To do this, we need to add on a staff member to our team, as our current staff is very busy running this site. This position, like all other EMTBravo staff position, would be unpaid and for the benefit of this site. Although this is an entry level position, we are studying creating a social media division of our sites which we would eventually need someone to lead. We feel it is the right time to lift our temporary ban on discussion of EMS in Dutchess County on this forum. Although we haven't been enforcing the ban, it did put an end to some of the drama and tensions. All discussion must fall within forum rules, and be positive, constructive, and respectful in nature. No member may threaten or harrass another member, or outright bash an agency or its employees. The discussion must remain rlevant to the topic at hand, and akthough it may get heated, we will not tolerate intenitonal slamming of agencies.
