Members, Several of you contacted me about the Tactics And Scenarios topics showing up on EMTBravo.com under every category (Incident Alerts, Photos). I'm sorry I took so long to fix this,as I have been dealing with a devastating personal issue and have put the forum aside for the past week. I know it was annoying to many of you, but it should be fixed now. They will only show under "Recent Topics" where it is supposed to be displayed. My apologies. This was meant for another member and did not realize my mistake, and any relation is purely coincidental. I don't feel like getting into the technicalities but I've had a very rough week and am trying to get to everything that needs attention as fast as I can. I realized the error and some other issues with forum accounts but put it off because of a personal issue. As for the humor part, I am in no mood for humor right now.

Months ago, Remember585 gave me a great idea to start a scenarios forum, and gave me some thoughts on how we could do it. Each week, a member will be selected to present a topic in this forum. ALL members can send me their scenario ideas, and I will select the scenarios based on a variety of criteria, including member reputation. Other factors will be topic diversity, for instance, maybe one week a fire scenario, the next week EMS, etc. Another important selection factor will be how well the scenario is written If you have a scenario idea, write it up and send it to me via EMAIL (I take forever to reply to PM's) at the following EMAIL address: seth@emtbravo.com. If and when chosen, I will ask that member to then post the scenario in this forum, where then all the members can cohesively discuss it. Thanks again, John! Advertising helps close the sale. Advertising builds traffic, provides incentives for acting now and links to web sites, coupons and toll free numbers which all directly can close the sale. Point of sale ads, and as seen in ad signage are used as sales tools by advertisers to speed the closing process. Advertising keeps them sold. Advertising reinforces good decisions, creates the best prospects for future sales. It costs less to keep a customer than to find a new one and increases the usage or products you have already bought. 7. Advertising is an effective sales tool. Seven out of ten salespeople surveyed said that they use ad reprints as a selling tool. 8. Advertising saves time for both you and your customers. Customers believe advertising saves them time and money in comparison shopping and therefore the customer who has been exposed to advertising is closer to making an informed decision saving you time and money as well. 9. Members, Before we switched to this new software, we had a "Member Of The Week" section, and that member was then placed into the "Outstanding Member" group. We have decided to do away with that group in an effort to streamlize the several different membership groups we currently have. All members in that group will be switched to an existing or modified membership group yet to be decided. We felt that the "Outstanding Member" group would be too time consuming to update, so now Outstand Members are listed under their awards. Recently, we have begun an "Awards" system. We are able to now award members for things like Outstanding Member, Knowledge Source, Forum Patron, Excellent Photographer, and some more that are currently being developed. These awards show up in a members post, in the left hand info pane. They also are viewable in the members profile, and explains what each award is for. We also have a dedicated award section, which you can access from the top menu. The reputation system will compliment the awards system. Please, send me or any staff member your suggestions for members deserving awards, and also keep checking back as we improve the variety of awards and make the icons look a bit better!
