Using drugs to cope with stress is one thing, abusing those drugs is another and they should be dealt with accordingly. Everyone uses prescription drugs one time or another, but some WEAK people abuse them and thats when they put people in danger!

I know TCD in Mamaroneck has been showing it off, makes your feet shake when you stand near it. I think its a little costly (I seem to remember $500 but dont quote me). Its lots of fun when you have to drive back and forth from albany when you take the agility (joke), psych and medical. then the academy for a month and a half every weekend , for peanuts! but its a good learning experience. especially if you want to get into the police field, i recommend it for that, not the pay or conditions.

What if youre making a k-turn in the middle of the roadway, someone has to jump out? Sounds like something that should be on a garbage truck or something, not an emergency vehicle. Too many situations that we can "what if" to death that would make this button overkill on any emergency vehicle.

Ok, Ive read these topics over and over on here, and exucse my ignorance (no pun intented) but i have to ask, what are scanners going for these days? and what are they doing now that they didnt do before. What can I pick one up at radio shack for, I only scan a few channels (local fire, pd). I guess now you have to hook them up to the computer to program, how is that done, usb? I may be due for a new one so I want to get some feedback. Definitly dont need a super duper one. I just looked at radio shack, GOOD GOD! $600??? What is this trunking, triple trunking etc???
