  1. Im going Thursday, cant wait.
  2. How exactly is the winner picked? Seems that the same names are listed as past winners. I know you gotta be in it to win it, and I am, but I cant catch a break! Is it computer generated? Note:Im not REALLY ticked off, just busting chops. BUT, I still want to know ;-)
  3. Im thinkin a special occassion lotto! ie-emtbravo's birthday, 9/11... then those days the tickets are 5 or 10k or more! Whichever but make it big!!!
  4. While we're on the "getting sued" subject, I noticed a lot of people on here are "scared"! Just do your job the right way and use common sense, you may still get sued but will have no problem beating the case. If you allow the fear of getting sued to run your career you may not do something you should have done and cost someone their life or property! Act in good faith and help people like we're supposed to! Best way to steer clear of HIPPA, HIPAA, HIPPO and everyother derivative is to watch the pictures you take (even if they dont violate a law you should respect peoples "privacy" even if its in a public place, you wouldnt want your wife or mother all beat up pasted all over the internet or papers) and dont mention names when you talk about calls! Like I said, they may not violate anything but it does, in my book, violate a moral standard we all have to keep people's business private. We sometimes get info or camera angles that private citizens dont get and we cant take advantage of it, even if theyre "cool" pictures. Be professional and do your job the right way! And for God's sake, be careful out there!
  5. Yeah BABY! 250 a ticket, now we're getting up there. Serious loot involved now!
  6. 102??? Whats everyones secret for getting far? I find if you go low, about 1/4 of the way up from the floor itll work ok
  7. do the news paper effect, or its under headline or something. Did it with a video of pictures from my daughters birth. Movie maker is way cool and addicting!
  8. made it outside by try 50 or so, made it 55.303m! SWEET! I hate this game cause I cant stop. edit: ok, 58.622m, IM DONE!
  9. Just another bill to add to the taxpayers! Same thing as frivolous law suits in prison and health care. You'd be surprised what ailments they have in prison which they wouldnt have had outside. Some states charge them a fee for both now, cuts down on the lawsuits big time. I was still answering them 3-4 years after I left that service. Of course they were looking for money for nothin!
  10. Had the "pleasure" of stopping one of their trucks with a trailer. (no bikes in it though :-( ) Got the inside scoop, Vinnie quit, it will be on a show coming up. The plan is to have a contest for his replacement on a series of shows. I guess he felt unappreciated, which he has every right to, hes the backbone of the bikes and doesnt get the credit. But at the same time, the Tuetls faces are OCC and what sells bikes, maybe he should have known that going into it. I know theyre pretty good to local emergency services though, Ive seen some donated items from them at 10-13 parties for raffles/auctions. Have you ever seen the unions protesting and Joe Schmoe's house when he uses non union workers? NOPE! Theyre trying to expoloit this project because its so high profile! Whos money hungry now???
  11. Now thats what im talking about! Prizes will be up there now!
  12. This was posted, look down about 4 posts! Still sick to watch again, quite the video!
  13. On the rear it states SCRU (Shopping Cart Retrieval Unit) and I ask again, has anyone seen if it has a tow hitch for the shopping cart trailer (also known as SCRU1)
  14. That was SICK! Love the cop "riding the bull" at the end. I guess it helped his justification.
  15. Sweet! They outta make a version where youre sitting in a police car and you can beat the hell out of the car computer WHEN IT MALFUNCTIONS CONSTANTLY!
  16. See if Seth can make it so you can buy as many lotto tickets as you can then see who wins it!
  17. \ Not taken at all like that. I think it would boost sales if it was a big banner "Points Lotto", as we know, people, like water, take the path of least resistance. One click as opposed to two on a large banner might get those numbers up there, would love to see it get LARGE!
  18. I know where it is, I was saying for people who arent familiar with it. Like a promotional thing.
  19. Maybe Seth could put up a big link ontop of the main page directly to the lotto stuff, then more people would know about it.
  20. I FINALLY WON!!! WOO HOO
  21. THE JOURNAL NEWS (Original publication: September 18, 2007) YONKERS - Police officers stood at attention and saluted as a coffin bearing the body of Army Staff Sgt. Courtney Hollinsworth was removed from the white hearse that had carried it home yesterday. State, Westchester County and Yonkers police met the body of Hollinsworth, who was killed Sept. 9 in Iraq, at the George Washington Bridge on its way from Dover Air Force Base for today's wake and tomorrow's funeral service and burial. Before the hearse pulled up at Whalen and Ball Funeral Home, Hollinsworth's parents said they were proud of their son and thankful for the public's support. "The love and support we are getting from Yonkers and the county. From people we don't even know. A bus driver stopped his bus to say hello," said his stepfather, Antonio Coaxum. "We are sad, but it makes you feel prouder and prouder." Following Hollinsworth's death, the family's home was visited by elected officials and flags throughout Yonkers flew at half-staff. As she waited, his mother, Hope Hollinsworth Coaxum, said she was eager for her son to return home. "He is coming home, but unfortunately I still have a very empty hole in my heart, but I am extremely proud of him," she said. Coaxum, who helped raise Hollinsworth since he was 4, said his son was a hero. Hollinsworth enlisted in the Army at 17 after graduating from Saunders Trades and Technical High School. He served in Afghanistan in 2002, as part of the invasion of Iraq in 2003, and began a second tour in Iraq in February, shortly after he was married. The 26-year-old was assigned to the 1st Squadron, 4th Cavalry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division at Fort Riley, Kan. Hollinsworth's grandfather Silvesta Hollinsworth, who had served in the 101st U.S. Army Airborne Division from 1955 to 1958, joined the extended family as they waited outside the funeral home. There, they received periodic updates on the progress of Hollinsworth's final trip home to New York. "It is something he wanted to do. He loved the military," the senior Hollinsworth said. Among the other family members who waited for the soldier's return yesterday were his wife, Stephanie Errebo-Hollinsworth; his sister Nicole, who had just begun college in Delaware; his grandmother Audrey Hollinsworth; and an aunt and uncle, Joyce and Mark Corpas, who often took the young Hollinsworth with them on vacations. Joining the family was Maj. Darrin Clinton, who is based at the U.S. Military Academy in West Point. Several staff members and patients at a medical office across the street stood outside the building waiting for the arrival of the hearse. A patient, Lucreshia Amory, watched sadly after she was coaxed outside by the sound of the police motorcycles in the residential neighborhood. "It's upsetting. I think they should have been brought back home a long time ago. How many more parents are going to have to see their kids die before there's an end to the war," Amory said. Though they emphasize that they support the troops, members of Hollinsworth's family have said they also oppose the war. Later, Mark Corpas walked across the street to shake hands and thank each of the police officers for accompanying his nephew's body home to Yonkers. Calling hours are from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home at 168 Park Ave. A funeral service is set for 10 a.m. tomorrow at the Community Baptist Church, with burial to follow in Calverton National Cemetery on Long Island.]Memorial contributions are requested by the family to the church, 156 N. Broadway., Yonkers, NY 10701. There should be quite a few wheels there, if anyones hanging around your firehouse or wherever, might want to step outside if the procession passes and throw up a salute, it's the least we can do for him. Or better yet, come to the funeral services in uniform and build the numbers!
  22. Just got back, very nice showing. Yonkers FD did an outstanding job hanging the flag over the roadway and had a great turnout. Nice escort, maybe about 25 bikes, they all went out to the cemetary but I had to get back. Even Yonkers DPW and Parks Dept had a showing! Great job by all, makes you proud!
  23. This is a product I've used daily for about 2 years. It increases safety in which you dont need to turn on your interior lights, you can stand outside the car to write a ticket and organizes everything you need to write the ticket. It even displays time/date/court date right in front of you so youre not fumbling around for it. Its well worth the investment, can be used by PoliceOfficers, Parking, Code Enforcement and anyone else you can imagine. Even can be used by Fire Dept personnel who gather info at scenes and need to light up their pad, you can custom print a pad from a computer to fit your needs and fit it in where the tickets go. Any questions PM me, if you happen to buy one mention you heard it here! Police Ticketboard ps-It works exceptionaly well if youre "on the wheel" fits in saddle bag, no need to fumble with all the paperwork or your flashlight!
  24. Not a problem, once again: it's well worth the investment!!!
