When are the politican going to understand that cutting essential emegency services is not the answer to their budgets.I can think of other non essential things to cut that would trim their budgets of wasted money.

Good job by all. I think we should stop questioning the choices made by medic or other personal on the scence at the time of the incident. Those individuals made the decision to fly that patient out and the time they felt this was the best decison in the pt. Interest and outcome. Again good job by al.

Just so you know Transcare has multiple 911 contracts between NYC and Westchester county for years pior to getting contracts in Putnam and Dutchess. Also I think we should wait and see what happens and start talking to your elected officials and make them understand how important we as a group are and enough with the my company better than yours BS and remember why we got into this field in the first place and that to take care of people in need of help.

Tis that time again does any one have any info. on the ALS contract. Multiple rumors going around that it between Transcare and Hudson Valley Paramedic Service.

The ground operation is seprate from them the are the former nurse and transcare cct medics and emts The flight team is operated by Air Methods (Life Net of NY) and I think Air 1 is the only medavacthat has STAT Flight still on it
