Here are a few more of the apparatus that were at the show

Mike Quinn was hoping that the rigs would stay till 6pm, but the companies that showed up were there by 9:30am deceided to leave by 2pm. Meriden did have rotating companies showing up for photos, stayed awhile and left. So there were apparatus at the show. Like I said its a first time show give them a break, they tried to do the best they could. Yes I would have liked to have seen more apparatus there but you know I was just happy to show my support for this first time show. It's too bad I could not stay for the whole show as I heard the photo show at night was well attended and was a great night.

I too made the trip from Yonkers and I am glad that I did. I thought the show was fantastic. It was a small show for the first year that it was put together and Mike Quinn that organized it did a great job. I believe that if this happens again next year it will grow even bigger. Code 3 along with several orther fire vendors were there selling. Code 3 also introduced the new Hartford Engine 7 and the actual apparatus was brought down to the show. The Fire Musters that we all enjoyed at the Kensico Dam and Valhalla are a thing of the past, those of you that attended yesterday is what we are seeing today. Many vendors that we saw every year at the flea markets are long gone. We should accept in what is there. It was a nice drive up and a great day to see old friends and make new ones. For those who wanted to see more apparatus, then you should have made an effort to be in on the photo shoot that was on Thursday and Friday.

Great Job on the shirt, Well done

If you have nothing to do, take a ride up to Meriden. There will be alot to see, vendors will be selling firematic items. Current and vintage apparatus will be on display. It will be a good day out for all.

To back up what 25Truck26 said. I posted apparatus photos of what was on display at Fleet Day. Who cares if Stiloski's trucks have red/blue/green lights. All these departments took part in this event, without them there would be no Fleet Day. Being from Yonkers I was very impressed with the Yonkers Fire Department. All my years photographing and posting apparatus photos of FDNY, Yonkers and Westchester County, I never saw a topic get so off track. This posting is on apparatus photos. If you want to bash and and make critical comments take it somewhere else. Joe Pinto

Just returned from a few days of R&R up at the Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods. Stopped by the Mashantucket Pequot Fire Department who respond to Foxwoods Casino and Resort. They were very gracious to position the apparatus for me.

Saturday morning we drove over to Foxwoods, gamble a little at the slots and won alot I was at the firehouse around 10::30am as the Captain knew I was coming. This is the former Port Authority Police Rescue. This is a 1995 Volvo/PL Custom. You can see this apparatus on Mike Martenelli's site when it was in service with the Port Authority Police. This is still being retrofitted by the members of the Tarrytown Fire Department and hopefully in a few weeks a new updated photo will be shown.

While I was doing some Radio Testing down by the Tarrytown Train Station We had about 20 minutes to kill and I found this sitting across from the firehouse. I took a quick shot.
-
Was at the FDNY Training Center late this afternoon today for my Honorary Fire Officers Dinner and Meeting and I was able to photograph a number of pieces of apparatus that were there for training. Two Ladders marked as Ladder 62 and 71 are used either for TV or Movie scenes.

I would have put the photo showing the full side but there were too many buffs (batt2) crawling along the top of the rig.
