So, let me get this straight.....Mohegan is now dispatched by two separate agencies? Fire by one, EMS by another? EMS is part of the FD I thought. I just think this fragments things even more. Fire should go to 60 as well.

News 12 also did not cover Greenburgh UFA's (The Fairview/Greenville/Hartsdale) Unions donation of a fire pole and cash to the new Westcheser Childrens Hospital, nor the blood drive for Jimmy Arena Jr. They did cover a Mohegan FF going to Iraq twice though.

I'm assuming a Patrol was the old-fashioned term for Rescue, since thats what most of the old Patrols today are.

I agree......do those driving realize how loud it is? I notice it scares more children than delights, and gives more adults headaches.

I've got a question regarding the 135' Ladder you posted awhile back....why do you need a ladder that tall? It's also gotta be a tiring climb.

I haven't seen many photos of this fire, with the exception of the photos on the AP wire. Maybe we will see more/better photos in one of the magazines or when somebody has time to upload. Either that, or the heat kept many photogs away.

That's crazy!! Goes to show you how well a Freightliner cab holds up in a rollover MVA. Just another reason for custom apparatus.
