East fishkill had a very nice system when I was a member there. They used a simple card format on printed paper for your name rank and ID number, put a second blank card behind it, a sheet of paper with your medical/emergency information on it and laminated. That way I you were injured the EMS crew could cut open the tag and have everything they need. Not sure if they still use the system.

No. You have to wait for the results to be mailed. Sorry.

Last I heard the city is having trouble obtaining all the property. There is also talk of changes in the plans for the building to provide more space in certain areas. This is information I was given by a PFD member, hopefully someone can confirm.

Nope. Still waiting.

Seth, check out cult status tattoo in Montrose. They are great guys and have done my tattoos as well as several members from MFD. a small non detailed pice on the wrist would most likely be $50-$75. Pm me for more info

I went a few years back. Was a great time. I hope I can make it this year too. I have always thought this was a great idea by empress. Gives you a chance to meet and socialize with colleagues.

And with the way I understand the description of the driveway, by the time Mohegan or Peekskill made it to the scene the drive would have been blocked by the engines and LDH.

Great story! Nice to see some of these kids pay attention when we go to the schools.

Just saw this on the news too. Great job officer!

Watch what you bid boys.. It was the one that burned. Needs alot of engine work.

Dickies like x129 said. I like them for commercial EMS because they are CHEAP! Doesnt matter if they get trashed. For volly tours I use elbeco.

But in all seriousness, I am sorry for those about to be on the street. I wish them the best of luck.

Hello again guys and gals. Next week I will be taking a trip to Marthas Vineyard Mass. and I am looking to find a few contacts. If you are a member or know a member of some of the departments on the Island could you PM me with some contact info so I can try to arrange some station visits? Hoping to get some more great pics this year! Thanks! Wisker

Any chance of getting a flier for the station?

Looking great brother! Im getting excited about it!

I understand what you are saying, I just dont think that many private things can be seen by a fire fighter crawling on the floor. I think ultimately it would have to come down to a department policy.

I see no difference between footage inside and a news crew posted on the front lawn.

JM15 is right. This would vary by manufacturer. The information can also be found in the trucks operators manual.

Sending a prayer for him. Hope he makes a quick and full recovery.

Hello again brothers and sisters. As many of you know my 'little buddy' Christopher was diagnosed with "Leg Calf Perthies" about 7 months ago. Tomorrow he goes in for his last surgery to have his hardware removed. Christopher has been a long time fan of what we all do day in and day out. He is also SCARED!!!!! Cristopher and his parents have been close friends of myself and my fiance for many years and wishes for nothing more than to be a "normal" kid with the ambition of one day being a firefighter. After my origional post of the photos from a birthday party for Christopher held at HFD in dutchess, the outpouring of support from the members here was overwhelming. I thank you all again for your support for my best little friend and ask that you keep him in your prayers as he embarks on the final leg of his long journey. If I may ask, can you all post some well wishes and words of encouragement here so that his mother can read them to him both befor his surgery and on his road to recovery. Lets show this little guy what it means to be in the emergency service community! Thank you all in advance. God bless and stay safe!
