As the title says selling my mini LED lightbar. Buying a new car and would rather have an interior light setup. Lightbar is fully functional, comes with roof magnets and connects with a cigarette plug. As of right now I'm looking for around $100 or best offer. A trade for dash lights is also possible. Any other questions or comments feel free to pm me.

Each county would still have thier own systems it would just interface between counties alot easier

Something that should of been done a long time ago with unit numbering. A good idea would be each county should have a county number in NYS and follow it be the department number. For example lets make dutchess county 9 and city of beacon is 33 so plain speak the apparatus before hand. ( engine 933) If there are two engines or more Engine 933 A, B, C. Just call each apparatus for what it is ambulance, rescue engine, squad, truck, tower, tiller, engine, brush, chief, tanker. etc. Several other states have devloped this and it really works wonders espically for out of county mutual aid. This is simply becuase, A its plain speak and B you dont have to figure out what 9-89-12 actually means.

Wait so are they "allowed" to have Qs in NY or not. More power to them if so, a true firetruck siren.
-
Have to say the off duty part just seems like a violation of rights. Certian things I can understand but that goes a bit far.

While on the topic of roadway safety anyone have any ideas on why NYSP is subduing the reflective stripes on their cars. It kind of seems like the opposite of what fire and EMS are doing with the chevrons. Are there other reasons then just a darker profile for running radar?

Found a video on it

Sorry for the quick reply earlier if you’re really interested in looking at a degree in fire or EMS and want to possibly be a live in check out http://www.fdlivein.com/ it was actually created by former live ins and college grads of fire science programs. Also if you’re unsure I know many of the live in programs in Maryland have ride along programs so you could see what it’s like normally however the programs do require you to be 18 to ride along.

Closest I can suggest is down in Maryland, PG and montgomrey counties.
