  2. MVA Northbound on the Taconic by the ramp for 9A. Trooper was there for another a vehicle needing a tow and a another vehicle rear ended the trooper who hit the disabled car. On scene were NYSP, Mt Pleasant Police, Briarcliff Fire and EMS. Road has just been reopened at 1950.

    Hi all While not a EMT or FF, I am a former NYPD A/Sgt as well as a Former Aux. Coast Guard Staff Officer and still enjoy listening to my Scanner. I find this site to fill in what I miss. I've been at the scene of many fires both on land and in the water as well as numerous car accidents, shootings, stabbing ect. Its nice to just sit back and read about it and my deepest praise for those of you who run into burning buildings or save lives. For you I give my heartfelt thanks. brian
