A famous NYC fire that occured in 1977 in Brooklyn's Bushwick section, Here's a link to recently published photos (up till now, mostly the same couple pix were around). City Noise website w/ article http://citynoise.org/article/6739

"If you search around the web, there are some great shots of this fire. I believe this went to 10 alarms." > These are the most common (and impressive) shots seen of this job, the link above is the "newest" ones up recently, with stories from those that were there.

For those who were patiently waiting on the out of stock sizes, a new order is now in and available. Thank You again !!

A Modified response. The night of the Blizzard, 400 Park Ave came in as an activated alarm, then was filled out due to further info, turned out to be a small 10-29. You never know !! Good job to the powers that be, for pre-planning and manning the necessary apparatus for a storm as this one.

Another overlooked note to this story, from Lowell is: Ladder-4, Engine-4 and Rescue-1 were all shut down the night tour of the fire, half of the normal first alarm assignment. I'm willing to bet the Fellas could'a used the "extra" hands.............!!!!!! http://www.firerescue1.com/labor-issues/articles/893903-Mass-fire-union-wants-end-to-station-closures-after-fatal-fire/ More links to Fire, scroll down a few.... http://www.thesunblog.com/policeblog/

I'm just wondering..... Can Snooze-12 get a story right ? There have been TWO companies CLOSED so far !!! Not One, and one relocated, as they keep saying, that's misleading. Ladder-70: CLOSED. Engine-308:CLOSED. What crack reporters.............

Engine-308 closed 0800 7/9/10.........
