  4. Actually, the other supply hose is 3-1/2". The Engine wraps a hydrant with (2) 3-1/2"'s one of which is gated at the hydrant connection.

  8. We carry the 1-3/4" lengths, which actually get hooked via the standpipe to a short (6') length of 2-1/2" with a gated Y (2-1/2 X (2)1-3/4) , in the standpipe bag.
  9. - The hose on the fenderwells are both: Usually 4-Lengths of 1-3/4" Standpipe packs (or as we call them- "Donuts") which go with the standpipe bag on the Drivers side....... The Officer side usually is 3-lengths of 1-3/4" pre-connect..............
  10. -216, I believe the 1st alarm for that box is: E-308,309,303,310 L-71,72 Bat1 (R-1 still disbanded at time)
  11. "What you will find is in fact a "cockloft " between the 1st and 2nd floors that allows fire spread from 1 end of the house to the other end in all directions.........." I have it in my place- a "Trussloft" in between floors, quite signifigant in size. This new lightweight construction will be here to haunt us for years, and change our tactics as time goes on !

  17. -Cpage, I remember that Truck being quartered w/ E-307 on CPA for a short time. It was a (19??) lime yellow midmount from Hartsdale that was almost put into service w/ L-74 after their rig was down long term (because we had NO spares !!) in the early 90's. I believe it was scrapped.............
