Yes they are getting a new chief as of 11/14/11, make sure you include somewhere in the application that you are an EMT - B or they won’t even consider you. They are still hiring and are looking for overnight people 11pm-7am, also speak to security directly since hiring is done through the department and not H/R. As far as pay goes starting is 11.50 night differential is %10 on top of that. There are annual raises and are performance based (%0 - %4). No need to apply if you are not looking for at least a few overnight shifts. Security guard licenses are preferred but not required. EMT-B only required for any consideration as stated above. A lot of hiring is done through recommendation from other employees so knowing someone helps but not always the case. Also if you are looking to be doing some crazy medical work, or want to be a robo-cop this is not the job for you. They are more of a hospitality based “here is a ban-aid for your boo-boo” type department. Although you will walk away with very interesting stories from this job.

The rear wheel well looks like it was set of for two tires but one massive tire is more then enough for weight distribution. Imagine two of those things back there?! Would not even fit without some kind of wheel well flare, but i would be more impressed if they did .
