Upon arrival BC 7(IC) reports "Signal 30" heavy fire showing from the top floor of a 3 story brick structure. Lines being stretched and put into operation. Building being laddered and ventilated, primary searches are underway. "All Hands" are employed fighting the fire. Primary searches negative.Frequency dedicated. Description of Incident: Units responded to an auto vs pedestrian MVA w/trauma arrest. Patient transported ALS to the hospital as a trauma arrest. Police on scene investigating. Date: 11/6/09 Time: 1010hrs Location: Watervliet PD Frequency:ACSD 159.360, Watervliet PD 453.700, CDERN 460.400, NYSP 155.445, Green Island PD 155.010 Units operating: Multi Units ACSD,Watervliet PD,NYSP,NYSP Aviation,Troy PD Green Island PD, Multi Agency boats & Command Post Desciption of Incident: A manhunt is in progress for a male subject who apparently escaped custody wearing a jumpsuit which he has shed ,and is still at large in the area of the 23rd St Bridge in the Hudson River. Multiple Police agencies are conducting a search which includes K9's,boats & heilcopter. Unclear if the subject was going to or from the Watervliet PD an investigation is continuing at this time. AFD Units to stage in the area until scene is secured by APD. Scene secured AFD rolled in suspect(s) fled and are still at large. Patient w/GSW to be transported ALS to the hosptal. Weather Conditions: Partly cloudy/cool Description Of Incident: Fire in a 2 story woodframe woodframe structure. Upon arrival Mutual Aid was requested by units on the scene for a 2nd alarm assignment. 3 fatalities were reported and the fire is under investigation by the OC Arson Task Force. Date:9/15/09 Time:2058hrs Location:124 First St. Frequency: Albany City 800 Trunked System Units Operating:APD Unit 207(Primary),209,102,103,171(Supvr),271(Supvr),274(Supvr), 332(K9),334(K9),335(K9),510,517,520,541(Supvr),572(Supvr) Weather Conditions: Mild/clear Description Of Incident:APD Unit 207 reports shots being fired possible unit hit, and in pursuit of a black Chevy Subburban with the rear window shot out. Area of 124 First St. and Lexington Ave. near Henry Johnson Blvd.. Vehicle lost during pursuit has been recovered by APD 503 in the parking lot of Tivoli Apartments on Livingston Ave. suspects fled area. A perimeter was setup and one is being detained due to eye witness ID. A K9 track has been started for outstanding suspect. APD Detectives, Supervisors,Patrol Units are investigating.   10. I have been involved with the Albany County STOP DWI Program for nearly a dozen years. I am a staunch advocate to get drunk drivers off the road. However unless there is a medical professional called to the scene or the alleged drunk driver is taken to a facility police or medical where a medical professional is available to draw blood, I am not in favor of police officers drawing blood for any reason. IMHO period.

    Hi I'm Ralph (rd3trk). I have been involved in the Fire/Security/EMS since 1976. I will be a 33 year member on my 51st birthday May 1st of the McQuoid E & L Co. #3 of the Middletown, NY Fire Dept.. I was injured in the line of duty 4/24/98 will operating Mohawk Ambulance # 10 on an Emergency Run in Albany NY. Since that time I volunteer for the AlbanyCounty Sheriff's Dept. STOP - DWI Program Designated Driver & Victim Impact initatives. I also have a good sized collection of fire engines, fireboats, firehouses,and EMS, and police vehicles.
