I tried to get some of Yorktown for the start of '06...but we have only had serious calls, and not enough "bs" calls to film us in action i.e. pulling out of the house, driving, suiting up, all that stuff.

BFD1054, Yorktown has 2 sets of tools. One on R-16 and the other on ENG-270. Eng-270 is basically like a rescue (bring on the heat, i know its coming), with a pump. It is our Primary FAS truck, along with backup rescue unit. It carrys a full supply of airbags, ropes, medical, cribbing, and tools, but is an engine. So when R-16 is OOS or on M/A, Eng-270 immediatly becomes our 1st due to car accidents and rescue operations.

Yorktown FD fell short of 600 by 4 runs. Set a new record for our dept I belive . This year however has started off to an extreamly slow start...avg 1 call every 3 days.

I just took the Harlem Line the other day to Grand Central and back. I had no problem with the trains, they were acctually quite the improvement.
