My first EMS call was an alergic reaction to a bee sting, and the kid was having a bad reaction. Luckly the medic got some epinephrine in him real quick and the kid turned out alright. My first fire call was a residential alarm. Rode ENG 273 (in the cab JBE ) Wasnt exciting at all...we got turned around before we even got on scene lol

I couldnt have said it any better my self. I think that If there was an immenent life threat, they would not have hesitated to go in and try to save that person. I understand that the homeowner recived burns, but i would assume he was most likely on the outside throwing water in.

sounds like a great Idea...but to be honest...I dont know why I even thought about this, but I would want to be placed on the back of my dept apparatus...just my personal thought / request if you will. To me it would make it more personal. Does anyone feel the same way I do?

I am not takeing the sides of either department, but I would like to know how they were able, if it happened at all, to turn off 5 guy's airtanks ( think thats what the video said)...One alone would have started a fight...but being able to switch off a total of five SCBA's without them knowing untill they were out of air seems a little fishy to me...I think we all know how long it takes to shut one off and the "force" that needs to be applied inorder to accomplish this task. I will glady stand corrected when the final verdict comes out however.

I just did some simple math...If you took the cash lump sum, you would be reciving about $150,000,000. Now if you lived 70 more years, thats $2,142,857 per year, $178,571 per month, $5952 per day if it was only 30 days in a month, and $284 per hour! HOLY CRAP!

I was listening to the Mohegan job this morning, as well as watching the IA. But I noticed that there was a good 5 mintute delay in the time difference. I've never seen this before. Anyone else haveing the same problem?
