  1. @x129K True that, can't complain at that price!
  2. Don't know about you guys but I'd much rather have one of the Suburban's than that small Explorer
  3. Gotta love the old Detroits! I wish they still made trucks that sounded like that.
  4. Nice pics, I've always been a fan of late 80's Pierces like the 87 one above. Did I hear somewhere that they're getting a light rescue to add to the fleet?
  5. I like it. Nothing too flashy but it gets the job done.
  6. Not sure if this is in the right forum, but here goes. How do I go about changing my profile picture on my page. Not my avatar, but the picture I selected that shows up at the top of the page by my username when I log in? Thanks.
  7. Lmfao @ x129K. I like it. Simple design but very sharp.
  8. My department is currently kicking around replacing our 1981 Mack aerial, one of the few of its kind left in the area, due to the fact that it is configured as a 100 foot aerial on a single axle frame. It's been a more than reliable truck over the past 30 years, but it is starting to show its age in some respects and we are beginning to explore our options. Does anyone still make a 100 foot aerial on a single axle frame? Due to accessibility issues in some parts of our district, this would most likely be a requirement in the specs that we would put out for a new truck. I'll be at the show in Harrisburg next week and hope to speak to various dealers about it, but would like to get a jump on it in the meantime. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Dan
  9. Did Wiz Kalifa pick the colors for this truck?
  10. That old Saulbury plant is off of route 81 just south of Syracuse. Last time I passed by it, it was being used by what looked like an RV/trailer dealer.
  11. Very nice. It's not every day you see a Dodge Ram crew cab for a brush truck. 6.7 Liter Cummins in there?
  12. Who owns that, the John Kerry Fire Department??
  13. Normally I can't stand the chevrons in the back but these ones are nice and discreet. Good job and good luck with it.
  14. One thing we carry that I haven't seen mentioned here is a light rope. Usually one of our team members will carry this rope bag with 100' of lighted rope from the door to where the downed firefighter is and it leaves a lighted trail back to the door. We haven't had an opportunity to use it at a call yet but we've drilled with it a bunch of times and it's worth its weight in gold.
