i just want to say thanks to xchief2x and remember585 for answering my questions, looks like it was a tough job from the start and i hope all went home safe.
-
were there any issues gaining access to the structure do the snow or the location of the house if it was set far off the road? also was this fire an exterior attack from the start or were there some contributing factors sometime into the fire that caused everyone to be pulled out and placed into a defensive attack?
-
thanks for the info chief. since i was already at the fire at nappy auto collision and repair with LT 8, anything is possible. was the fire at 702 half moon bay drive, in a new building or an older one?

You consider coffee an indispensable work tool.

Even worse than what mricorp stated that they start doing traffic stops, what happens if they get into an mva and kill someone running lights and sirens? thats when we have a real problem to address. mreis95 stated that they got behind him with amber and white lights, when i see front facing amber lights, I think something like a tow truck or a plow truck, its not a vehicle that I'm going to pull over for, correct me if I'm wrong but aren't amber lights just caution lights?
-
yes, i would still volunteer if i couldn't use a blue light. you volunteer because you want to and you love it, not because you can use a blue light. if you are in it for the blue lights, you are going to kill youself, or get someone killed in a fire one day because you really dont care about firefighting.

very nice rig guys, good luck with it.

photos that i took, while the excavator was in the hole and when it was being removed. All these photos were taken with my cell phone and half way through the process of stiloski's removing the excavator my battery died so this is what i have
-
I was on scene when the excavator fell into the basement. the operator of the excavator was able to get himself out of the excavator and out of the hole which he fell through. he did go to the hospital to be evaluated and later in the day he returned to the scene to watch the excavator get removed from the hole.

where do I start. the fd took way too long to get to the scene (they are supposed to be a paid fd out there). an oil tanker exploded and you have the fd there with no airpacks on while you can still see flames from the tanker. shouldn't they have moved the victims out of the hot zone (if they were able to be moved) as soon as they got to the scene recognizing that there was an oil tanker involved in the wreck?

Tonight I took the train home from the new station. i would have taken the train to the new station also but i was meeting a friend in the city before hand. It took about 5-10 minutes to get from the stadium to the new station as said before. The only problem that I had was there were limited seats available on the train north and there were between 20-40 people standing in the aisles because the train was full and i left the game with 1 out in the 9th to try and beat the rush of people. overall it was a very pleasant experience being able to enjoy almost an entire game and then being able to walk to a train and no have to deal with all the traffic leaving the stadium. I would give it an A+

Finally some new bikes. I got to meet them last summer and actually got on the show for the car show episode. If that show comes up again my car is the blue 68 camaro convertible at the end of the show
