Awesome looking truck

Hi everyone I wanted to introduce myself. Im Rob Tillson. I am on Facebook and originally from NY (Yonkers 1st and then Hyde Park 2nd). I do collect patches from different departments and do make diecast vehicles in 1:64 scale. I currently live in Lodi, Ohio and still love the Westchester County area FD / PD / EMS. I work as an EMT for a private company called Life Care Medical Services. Thanks for listening to my ramble and hope to be a part of more discussions.

Visibility for that has to come into play a little?????

So what separates a fly car from a full blown ambulance doing a meet and assist. Alamo used to run sometimes from Poughkeepsie to Beacon all the time
-
I as well listen to the scanner in my neck of the woods. Lodi Ohio. We have our own Emergency Department and travel time is minimal. From when crew gets on scene is a 5-8 mins transport to ED. There is no need for ALS unless they are going with the crew. Some of the outlying areas where its 15-20 mins or maybe longer maybe ALS could be needed. I worked for Alamo EMS (RIP), Beacon VAC and Marlborough VAC (also RIP) where the magic powers were have ALS meet enroute to the hospital. Is that something that could be done??? EMD protocols are only as good as the caller. CALLER Im having chest pain with pain radiating to my arm Sometimes stands for "I shouldn't have had that taco earlier A pulled foley catheter should never need ALS.

I agree with the 2 door -vs- 4 door
-
Oh im sorry I accidentally called it a MERV. So if it is not then what could it be used for
-
I know I live all the way here in Ohio but wouldnt it be part of a combined NY State EMS Task Force .....Please dont kill the unknowing one. Here's the other part. Lets say train accident (yes folks those do happen) in say Dobbs Ferry wouldnt the Yonkers MERV and / or Westchester County MERV go. One could say that Yonkers has there own and needs to "protect there citizens". And then you have the Westchester MERV couldnt go well are you gonna strip ambulances all the way from Yonkers (Empress), Hastings, Dobbs Ferry, Tarrytown, Ossining etc.

Wonder if Westchester County office building had the same thing if they would be denied

I know of NYPD museum and I just went to the Cleveland Police (Ohio) museum (which is really awesome). Is there any in the Westchester County area and do any of those have gift shops?

Any one take the Criticall test? I have an exam coming Thursday for Ohio State Highway Patrol and wanted a heads up on this. Whats it all about and what happens

I also remember the one in Poughkeepsie on Route 9 (Town of Poughkeepsie). I remember the Harbor Freight was there and there was an IHOP there as well. Cant remember if it was there last time I was out there but great food and great service.

Im thinking great point..........I also agree with the outstanding police agency. So what does the difference between County Police and County Sheriff???

I know here in Ohio there are special stickers for the back of the ambulance that say inspected by. Ambulances without are considered "illegal".

Wow and who says government act quickly. Lol

Sorry got off subject there but........What big cities does WCPD respond to. I know Yonkers and White Plains have there own "toys" but does any other city / town / village have any bigger toys.
