How is the reception with the pagers with picking up two towers? If you are in between will you get a garbled signal? In Putnam we cannot transmit on two towers (excpet Nimham & Graymoor) at the same time.

I hate to start a post this way but, "When I was Chief" I was on my way home one night and came upon a couple having a domestic dispute in a vehicle. She kept trying to get out and he kept pulling her back in. I called the town PD as I followed the vehicle driving around while waiting for the PD to arrive. As they approached the town/county line, I asked the PD desk where their officer was and what I should do and was told to pull the car over. I lit up my vehicle and the car stopped. I waited in my car tll the officer arrived and he took over. The last thing I heard form the scene as I drove away was the guy compIning "I got pulled over by the F%^king Fire Chief!"

Maybe accountibility is the key. There is another thread on here where a member stated his opinion that the persons responsible for a MVA should be held acountable and he was gang tackled and mugged. The accident appears to be lsimilar to the St Louis accident last month, 2 apparatus approaching the same intersection from different roads and it appears one failed to yield the right of way. Stop blasting people who say someone should be responsible. Someone is responsible for each incident and if their actions or inactions caused the incident, they need to be held responsible.

Instead of "24", shouldn't this have been called "2"?

Politics at it's best, remember ther will be no raises next year. And I love the comments how it was because CSEA finally got a contract and hevan forbid an employee makes more then a political appontee. BTW, what kind of CSEA job pays 160K?

Luckily the WCMC is on the Grasslands reservation and apparently they have discoverd a cure for Lime Disease. Perhaps the key to Westchester Counties fiscal future could be to produce and sell the antidote!

Is that a Google As the Birds fly or Google Driving directions? I realize T-10 & T-14 might be the closest N Westchester resources but were there other Tankers closer? Stony Point (Rockland), Fort Montgomery (Orange) or Kent (Putnam)? I was not there and i was not working the A-Line and I am not MNQ. Just thinking outside a box.
