4000 feet on one engine can lay from water source to the center of town. No hydrants that are worth any thing in this town.

Got a call yesterday, county has put our company on standby. Trailer full of pumps ,suction, and discharge hose ready to go when they call.
-
I want to see some one go into a trailer load of lets say angus cows that has rolled over, and tie them up no less. Some body is getting injured if you have never been around cattle.

-
yeah smithfield area, not much water up there
-
What about in the ground water tanks, we have two in our district 30,000 gallons each. These were put in by the home owner because we told them there is not sufficent water supply to build that mansion style house.

I have seen a stop of a trailer fire in Millerton, they used CAFS and contained the fire to the room of origin. 51pride might have photos of this fire
-
awsome knock down time within minutes after deployment. Much easier to handel the 2.5 with cafs.
-
not much need for siren at 215 am in the sticks
-
the concept of the batt. 4 tones was just implemented last week and this was the first test to see how it would work. I must say it worked very well, as we in batt.4 work together often.
-
Job well done, nice stop.

Geat shots Dan, a big thank you to everyone that was there.I am not to sure about that 36 helmet on the dash! Now we know we can flow foam up an elavated device. A smooth bore tip would make it even better!
