I believe that it was yesterday in the later in the afternoon.

I think that if there are plans in place to work around the chiefs limitations, than everything will work fine. The membership must also feel the same way since the voted him in.
-
Nice work CVFD. Also, everyone had their vests on, including the tow truck operator.

Came across this today and it really surprised me. CDL announcement I hadn't heard anything about this before reading it online. I thought that something like this would have made some noise, especially in the volunteer stations. I was already planning on getting my CDL permit next week, but now I know I will be going to DMV.
-
Another question I have about all of this is if you need a CDL to drive a fire truck, then the fire truck must be classified as a Commercial Motor Vehicle. If this is true, shouldn't they need a license plates, inspections, all proper DOT lighting, etc.?
-
Very visible colors they chose. Are these similar to the medic motorcycles that were discussed in another thread?
-
Very nice site

Nice pictures

Carmel's 31-7-1 - fourth picture down Here is a good example of LEDs getting drowned out. You can hardly see any of the lights, and the ones you can aren't bright and look almost white.
-
Nice looking rig. Any pics of the inside?
-
It is a very cool looking car. If is wasn't red, it would also make for a nice police car.
-
I originally thought that there could only be one blue light but it says above that there can be multiple rear facing blue lights What is the true story?
-
We have multiple Ham operators in the department that are going to be used when the system is needed. However, we will most likely never need to use the radio.
-
congratulations.
-
I can tell you, their last truck wasn't black (it was the exact opposite). Looks like it was a good day at the show. Nice pictures
-
Great pictures everyone. Anyone have information on the fire.
-
Woodstock Fire Department is currently working on outfitting an emergency radio bank of all the town's frequencies and the applicable county/state frequencies and this is going to include a Ham radio. The plan is to use it if the other radio systems go down because Ulster 911 and some other offices have Ham capability and we could communicate in case of an emergency.

Here is some more information about the accident: Record Online Still sounds like all the information is not known
-
Nice pictures and good work East Fishkill.
-
It seems like a good idea to me. The police officers use them, why can't EMS. Sure it is not for all areas, but in the right place it would be a good asset. Soon there will be fire extinguishers on them and there will be firefighters driving them around.

Very nice looking rig. Best of luck with it.
