Englewood Hospital & Medical Center will be breaking ground for a brand new ER early next year sould be open in 2010 will have up to 40 patient treament rooms 2 "code " rooms and full Decon area also will be ambulance friendly BTW They do not have an ems hang out lounge yet Holy name hospital in teaneck has also expanded their ER

the good ole Q winding down and a simple EC-2 Will be out is the usual here in engglewood cliffs But if it is something good the usually leave the house with Q pinned and say EC-2 responding That got to give you goosebumps

our units are used as inter hospital transport and to tranport to rehab's and nursing Hopefully they will bid to cover a town during weekday hours ala holy name and hackensack

I am employed by Englewood Hospital & Medical Center in Materials Management (shipping recieving and store room) All employees recieved a head up notice that Pascack Valley will be closing by years end, and that we will be getting doctors and some former staff from PVH. We are also begining to open up more bed space. I heard last week that we have added a 3rd Medic Unit, ALS 203, which is riding out of Dumont Valley. BTW, Englewood Hospital EMS recieved their 4th BLS unit, a 2007 Ford E-450/AEV Type III mini mod

Excellent post Seaside Heights has been on a downward slide for years best bet is to day trip also note you should behave in both seaside park and Heights (Seaside Heights has all the nice stuff do to all the tickets and summons they give out same with Seaside park) while we are on the topic of seaside heights they are expecting a new ALF 100 foot Mid mount towerand new Pumper/rescue

Hackensack Hospital St Joe's paterson Morristown Jersey City Medical Center and of course "THE U " in newark are all trauma centers In northen NJ I beleive you have to have 24/7 Neuro as well
