Fort Lee NJ Co4 operated an ALF 55 snorkel with 1250/500 in late 70s/80s FL6 was it's unit ID Seen it work a few fires back in the day

Cliffside Park NJ (Pierce Dash ) & Edgewater (KME) both operate Tele Squrits here in east bergen very good purchases by both depts quite handy for norrow tight streets in both of theirs boros

Almost forgot hospital EMS also provides transport services for patients going on to rehab centers/nursing homes We have begun a van service for families needing rides for treatments at hospital

I have seen Newark here in NJ Do beaching tactic Years ago Englewood Cliffs sank thier mid ship ladder trucks front wheels in a court yard in Fort Lee during a fire in an apartment house fire

Here's Edgewater NJ EWA1 's Ford E350 PL Custom This unit served with Leonia NJ VAC Before they were disbanded & unit was sold to Edgewater Unsure of the year of this rig Leonia had a newer PL Custom rig (2002?) that was turned over to the fire department & converted into a field comm unit

As far as I know the area VAC's welcome it They use direct billing here Englewood hospital provides full time EMS to Palisades Park Leonia & Englewood Cliffs We took over their areas when these squads disbanded We cover City of Englwood VAC 6 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday We also back up squads needing extra BLS units @ scenes All dispatching handled by MICOM Double Medics on both units working Our unit #. 's are ALS 211 & 213 Tour chief 's are 294 /298 BLS are # 231/236

We switched over from the Fly Car's so we can offer transport capability when towns are not able to get rig out The fly cars (suburban's) are used by the tour commanders & can be used as ALS units during snowy weather

Credit to photographer Here's Former Ridgefield NJ Rescue 2 that was given to the Bergen County Fire Academy for use as a loaner apparatus The county finally decided that had no use for it & returned it back to Ridgefield I believe it's going to be used for Brest Cancer awareness after some TLC & pink paint job
