Kevin seen you only once during UV's MCI drill with the red cross a few years back, Good luck stay safe, thanks for serving such a great country!

I checked this place out today while PFD was working on it, It was a good save by PFD I believe that the store above it only suffered smoke damage and nothing more, deff did smell like a worker a from a few blocks away with a hint of tobacco.

You know what just popped in my head, Some dept's have those IR emitters that change the traffic lights at an intersection red, couldn't the do the same with the tolls when lights and sirens are activated the IR emitter would send a signal to the booth and it would let it raise the arm?

I'm with New Paltz rescue and I know we have EZ-Pass in all of the rigs, and as for POV's from what I was told members are to respond to the station and ride the ambulance to the call. The only personal allowed to respond to the scene in there pov are the officers.

Hey dan I tried calling you, if thats the mic that I sold with the HT1000 thats a brand new mic, and I know there are issues with the HT1000 mic buttons.
-
They should just bring back the caprice.

Its one of those you gotta be there for it. 4701 was giving 4712 orders where to park the rig, which was to park it in the drive to the right side of 4101 (I think), and when 4712 arrived they asked which car was 4701 and I didn't hear his reply, but 4712's reply was "you gotta be more specific my man there is like 5 chief cars here"
-
I do but I don't what to stir up some waves.

At work one day I was talking to one of the Town cops, and he said having the cameras on the trunk is more effective then being mounted in front of the lightbar.
-
lol yup thats what I was talking about "gotta be more specific my man"
-
Nice Pics thanks for posting, Radio Traffic on FG 5/6 was rather amusing at first when 4712 arrived on scene, dk if any one else caught it.
-
I'm not sure where this would go so I put it here. I have a HT1250 and I have noticed certain alerting tones come across distorted at times on Dutchess 911 dispatch, I was wondering if any one else had this same problem and what they did to fix it.
-
Ok i dont mean to bring a dead thread back to life, but I corrected the issue with my HT1250 and the tones no longer sound distorted. If any one else out there with a HT750/HT1250/HT1550 that has that issue feel free to drop me a PM.

Idk if this is going off topic, but if so I apologize, Now what about windows with bars, those I think would be easier to cut through, but do they pose a greater problem them HUD windows/doors?
-
What is there purpose, are they anti break in devices? or just more so for un-occupied buildings?
-
ha that reminds me about the story about the two kids who where out vandalizing and the one kid had is phone in his pocket and it dialed 911
-
That sucks, at least no one was hurt.
-
I like the newer fords, the front makes it look bad a**, but I prefer the box style.
-
So much for all those people standing behind you.
-
Needs more lights.
-
Oh of course, you never know.
-
O wow, I bet your going nuts with all these smoke investigation calls, which are probably all related to the grey st fire.
-
Caller was calling from 9 garfield they are still investigating the 2nd house fire.
