Vassar Farms is no surprise..but a bear in the HOOD? LOL..I've heard but not sure there have been some spottings on the upper part of fidget st near the woods going towards Mountain Brook.

I know is common in some parts of Dutchess to see a Bear...I always hear Car Vs.Deer..but it was my fist hearing Car Vs. Bear lol... I know there have been unconfirmed bear sightings around the corner from my home.

I am curious if any one was successful in getting their HT1250 to alert for Ductchess County Tones, The Commercial EMS tones open with out a problem, and I know the reason.

Yes you are correct...

I am just trying to but a ab/ac combination in. I know how to program quick call, I know how to program my radio. Photounit pretty much hit it on the head why it won't decode. Motorola could fix it with a simple Firmware update like vertex..When the New VX-350's series came out they wouldn't decode the tones. The dealer I used to work for made a friendly phone call or email and within a few days vertex corrected the issue and sent the shop a firmware update via email.

Yeah but how? I know how to program it for it, and I have in the past but it never works..works fine on the commercial EMS Tones, but non of the fire districts and I know the reason with the tones being short.

Does any one know anything about this..never see it before, what is its primary function. Only reason I ask is that I have never seen this on the river before, and it appears to carry a crew of two. Sorry for the low quality pictures..taken with my cell phone.

They have the same options that a HT1250 has.. Orange Button-scan on/off Top button I have for monitor middle button i have set for light bottom button I have set for scan list edit P1 is Toggle High/Low Power P2 is Toggle Talkaround/Repeater P3 is Zone... That is a example how I have mine set up. Here are the options. Monitor Volume set LED Battery Indicator Toggle system scan on/off toggle repeater/talkaround toggle tight/normal squelch toggle option board on/off phone mode speed dial radio call voice storage playback exit voice storage playback voice storage delete light zone scan list edit call alert member 1 call alert member 2 call alert member 3 speed call alert sel cal member 1 sel cal member 2 sel cal member 3 speed sel call sticky permanent monitor That list is taken right out of the software..all your fender has to do is read the radio and LOOK. Tell him read the radio go to controls and menus and conventional buttons.

Maybe a year or so ago I remember listening to a local police agency up here pull a sears van over cause the driver had the lid to the laptop opened and issued him a citation...

Not bad looking I agree with TL2L31, but when they say "police package" do they mean it has the beefed up suspension along with all the heavy duty parts like Belts, Hoses, ect...are they calling it police package cause they are adding lights and a siren?

I second what Tom said, also makes it easy with people who are deaf, or people who are mute, or even in cases where you want to be discrete.
