2. I remember seeing this in a previous thread. The article mention at the time was about it being bought and the owners ideas for rebuilding it. It is nice to see the finished product. However no in my taste either. The pole is nice though. If only it were in the basement and with a lazy boy recliner near it... (No disrespect intended)

6. Tragic story. Condolences to the family and friends of the victims.
7. If lights don't get people talking, there is always the volunteer/paid discussion. That always seems to get people posting. I personally hate the drama so please, no one start a volunteer/paid thread for at least a few more years. DISCLAIMER: This was meant as slight humor. I have no issue with paid or volunteer Firefighters or EMT's, men or woman! Happy Holidays to all!!!
8. No cross streets? No past call history? ummmm
9. Really nice looking course. Enjoy!
10. Wow 23 years old.....what a tragedy. I hope they find the little s*** who killed him. Rest In Peace and my condolences to his family, friends, and fellow patrolman.

12. Just fermented 3 gallons of liquor (sugar, water, yeast). This can be added to energy drinks, or anything else...only cost 7 bucks.....hmmmmm. Anyone of any age can do this and it yields up to 10% alc/vol with baker yeast. Turbo or distillers yeast can yeild up to 20%. Freeze the solution and remove the water and you can get close to 100% alc/vol (jk but pretty high...). No way of banning this, and it gets you drunk.
13. Grants, coin drop (I know of depts. that have collected thousands in one weekend!), etc... A pancake breakfast is an idea....who doesn't love pancakes!?!

17. This is very unprofessional and frankly quite embarrassing... Does Florida really not have any bigger issues to deal with?
18. Does anyone have any updates on the 8 patients? Any emergency personnel affected by CO?

Using BBQ equipment inside....REALLY!?! Any possibility of criminal charges if someone dies as a result of some _________ (Fill in with own adjective) using BBQ equipment inside a MFD?

21. Pleasanville old ladder was rebuilt by Seagrave and is for sale. A buddy up at school was telling me that his FD looked at it and Seagrave was trying to sell it too them for $800,000 (ish)
22. Having a CO detector or even better a multi gas detector on all in bags is a must. This one detector will protect all personnel that are in the house or where ever the call is. Personal detectors for each member is a little excessive...these will be lost and broken way to frequently. Most of the time, the in bag stays with the crew in the house. And if the EMS in bag is not often brought in, the police or a medic usually have a bag. If all bags had detectors...problem solved. Also, as a rule of thumb, whenever I have two or more patients found in the same environment (not MVA's, domestic violence calls) I always right away become suspicious of the surroundings, and air quality. It is rare to have an entire house full of people have difficulty breathing. or headaches, dizzyness without an underlying cause...probably the environment they are in. Unless its an amazing coincidence!
23. Link?
24. Nice pictures. Thanks for posting.
25. Wow! Impressive fire. What a tragedy with 42 casualties recorded so far. Make you wonder what went wrong and why people could not get out...
