That a real shame...I was given a lot of promotional cards a while back when they came around to local agencies to promote the different location. The promotional cards give give all "Civil Servants" 50% off all food purchases and no cover charge anytime you go and show the card which has unlimited uses. I have never gone anyways...and now don't plan to. Anyone want the cards?

Welcome aboard! Hope you enjoy the site!

Often times, "exterior" members are older members who have done the training who have fought the fires, who have put in the time, but now are older but still want to help out and be an active member.

Kind of looks like the new Camaro. I think the design will grow on me. The Dodge brand name won't though!

I do not think calling 10 or so departments to a fire means they are all needed. These are almost always clusterf****. Most of the time, the majority of personnel are just standing around. I feel that a lot of the time, departments are called when they are not needed and to many departments are invited to the get together.

We have done this, it is very cool to check out the behind-the-scenes side of the ice rink. It was very informative as well.
-
Check the New England I/A section...just a guess...

Interesting. A lot of rinks however use liquid propane for fuel (or atleast i thought). These emit up to 60% less carbon monoxide. I have been to several activated fire alarms at indoor ice rinks but have never been to an activated CO alarm at an indoor rink with CO detectors. Makes you wonder if they are working...
