We have two vehicles with unpainted aluminum roll-ups and report no issues, As far as seeing the reflective tape in the dark, not sure what that meant but if the tape is reflective then when a ligh source hits it it should be seen over what ever the background is, both of our vehicles have the tape over the unpainted doors and they are seen fine. If I knew how to add a photo I could show you the reflective trim over the aluminum at night.

thanks for all the comments, I'll try and answer your questions. 1). No staff cars, however I tell everyone that our chief's car is the pedal car in my avaitor photo. 2). The seagraves is at New England Fire Equipment in CT. awaiting the start of the work, we got some grant $$$$ but clearly that $$$ will fall way short of what it will cost for the restoration. 3) I started the application but haven't finished it yet but that will be added soon. 4) The blue and white is really a nice look and combo, we get alot of head turning and thumbs up, yeah we know it doesn't help put out fires but they look damn good. The tanker is really a nice piece of equipment. Well designed, according to our Chief he recently spoke to Larry Davis, the expert in Rural water supply and Mr. Davis said that our tanker is the best designed and functional tanker he has seen, pretty sweet indeed. 5). Yep we finally got internet, that's why it has taken us so long to get a website up. 6). I did have the specs up for Engine 69-11 but for some reason I didn't follow through with the others, thanks for picking that up, I will get that information on. Again thanks for the comments and come back and visit often, I am adding stuff daily. Mark

As I said in my earlier post I have been in there several times on calls without any problems, they are regular people that shop in town like everyone else. Most of the crap that is spread about Oniontown is false rumors.
-
Well I live about 1 mile from Oniontown and I really have no idea what the deal is here. Stay out of there plain and simple. NYS operates a warehouse just before you enter the area and I have been there several times conducting inspections, no problem. One of there larger businesses in the Town of Dover is located next door also. The State actually just a few years ago put in a new road to this area so everyone did not have to cross the railroad tracks. The road going into Oniontown is no longer called Oniontown Road it is Seven wells Road., not sure if the Town wanted to end the BS that has gone on there by renaming the road or what was behind the name change. Also I have responded into Oniontown on calls and again no issues, the people there are just that people! The people there are just sick of the crap and have responded!
