No further East towards Sharon, after you pass Leedsville Road and go around the last sharp corner there sits the empty lot on the right, however Brandy's was under the same ownership as Tickets.

No sad to say just the one posted, it was setup pretty quickly and went very smooth, I had the luxury of being one of the members holding the litter on the tractor.

We took the vehicles to the West side of Town until the water went down, it went down pretty quickly that afternoon; of course we had several units operating at other locations on pump outs and etc. so there really wasn't any problem with idle vehicles. We did have to rescue a handicapped occupant right across the street from the firehouse with the Asst. Chief's John Deere tractor equipped with a bucket, we placed the gentleman is a rescue litter and put him across the hood of the tractor with his wife in the bucket and took them to safety, that was quite a trip for sure, not one I wish to do anytime soon. Here is a picture at the time we were getting them out, you can see the tractor and one of our members in a cold water rescue suit. photo by Tori Herow, EMTBRAVO member Signman's daughter Reason for the rapid rise of the water was there was a backup of water upstream; add the heavy rain and debris it became to much and washed out a small bridge and culvert causing the water to come rapidly.
-
We got FEMA $$$ and had contractors come and remove the damage and remove the mold and replace all the wallcoverings as needed. One hell of a way to get rid of that awful dark paneling in the main hall.

There was a Lloyds Lumber in Amenia too, one of my first calls was when they had a fire there, funny I was cleaning my shed out last spring and actually had some stuff with Lloyd lumber price tags on them.

Cogs I personally love you way of thinking and agree with it totally. However in a very small company like mine we have a hard time just filling the ranks by our bylaws, we just don't have the membership base, 10 years ago Yes, not now though

Here is how we elect our officers, the training classes still from yester year but as we know if you have FFI then that would equal EF and IFA and so on. Not an ideal way but it works and give the membership a choice and the officers at least have training. I do agree with an earlier point, just because you have a certificate it doesn't mean you are qualified to lead. Article XVI. Training Requirements for Officers Section 1. The following is to establish training requirements for members wishing to run for an officer position at the annual meeting of the Corporation in December of each year. 2nd Lieutenant 1).
