thanks Dan for the update, any more photos?

Same here, actually had the official title of 14-29 for a day back in 99 when the 911 center expanded, but decided to stay at TDDSO

Dan if I am reading the announcement correctly it is for the City, not DC911 and I see there is another one for a PSD Tr. also., are there any openings in the City and will they be filled?
-
According to a few posts above the FAST class is being offered. As with any class you need to have a Chief Officer or Training Officer sign you up. I am not sure if this is being done at DC911 or they have to do it at the NYS Fire Academy in Montour Falls? Any of the posters that are going have this answer

OK I just need to know who I am bringing so I know what vehicle I need to bring, my wife is coming along too and so aren't a few other wives of the Wassaic crew.
-
Dan I can still get you home if needed!!!!
-
Thanks Rob, hopefully the weather will be ok.
-
Dan put this one in your bank for the future, I carry a roll of tissue, hey you never know!!!
-
Bill thank you for sharing these images, it goes without saying; one tough assignment.
-
Most likely wouldn't have changed it as the pictures were viewed in the thread on the fire recently and most of the posters would have known where it came from and who is/was in the picture.

Coming together nicely, can't wait to see the finished unit.

thanks Chief

Wow Dan thanks for the account. Yes I know you, if you have something to express it WILL get expressed. Yes the pictures truly do not tell of the conditions you describe. I did note from the pictures the total burn down of I believe of the rear room or addition, the one noted behind JHK FF'er Busa. I did also note the size of the windows on the front 2nd floor. I was at the station when the call went out, listened to the second alarm get dispatched, I almost came to take some shots but figured with the amount of units responding they didn't need my personal vehicle in the way. When we eventually got dispatched it was the tanker only to the scene, the Chief was already enroute so following our OG's I remained in the district at the station. Dan thanks for the account, glad you made it home safely.

thanks Capt. I was looking around it without any luck, as stated by Chief Duncan it is preference, should the strap be worn yes, there is a reason why it is there other than for looks.
-
where is the picture located so I can see what all the fuss is about?
-
Excellent point Chief

We do Fire/Police/First Responder, but that is at a NYS facility not a town or fire district.
