  14. Yes it was Chief, I edited my last post to add a note that the instructor is willing to do this for any squad or department, great resource and facility and a great class for these nasty months we are stuck inside. The water was 80 degrees.
  15. Dan I told the instructor that I had a nice red Borat suit to wear, he was like please don't. It was a nice turnout and we will be doing another one so those that could not attend can get a chance. Nice facilities, the officers also took a tour of the basement area where the chemicals are stored and talked about apparatus placement and hydrant locations in the event of a spill or fire. One additional note, Instructor Victory is willing to do this class with any squad or department that is interested, send me a PM and we can get a class setup for you.

  22. It is with deep regret that we advise you that 2 Firefighters from Kilgore (Texas) were killed in the Line of Duty today after they were ejected or fell from the bucket of an aerial tower during training. Additionally, it is reported that 1 or more other Firefighters have also been injured. There are mixed reports of exactly what happened but it is clear that something went wrong causing the Firefighters deaths. posted from the secretlist @ firefighterclosecalls.com
