Wassaic brought out Big Blue for FFI class @ the DC training center so I brought along my camera to try it out. Thanks to Lead Instructor Bill Marshall for letting me get some shots of the class on vehicle fires and the instruction of the evening. Red Hook's new Pierce Pumper/Tanker 58-13 Instruction: Big Blue being operated by Wassaic Safety Officer 69-95 Lester "THE SIGNMAN" Herow, yes he is our Hero

Nice vehicle, me I like the simple less extreme looking chief's vehicles, I am not a fan of all the bells and whistles displayed which are usually a total waste of $$$$$, give me a simple layout with lights visible 360 degrees and reflective striping any day, thanks for sharing and another excellent job by SWS

Steve I actually like the chevrons there, I think it is great placement, thanks for adding the pics and the Old Sayerbrooks rig was awesome, well thought out and laid out.
-
Thomas great stuff, thanks, mind if I copy our rescue picture for our website?
-
thanks for sharing, hey don't worry the photos look good, a camera phone is better than no camera at all.

great looking site, very easy to use, thanks for sharing and good luck with it

thanks for sharing, great first due photo, can't beat those.

Nice rig, nice color and it looks like a Pierce Contender, hope it serves Esopus for many many years. As far as the rear Chevron colors, although they are not NFPA compliant (may not had to be if ordered before the deadline) it matches the rig, we are having the same discussions on our new rig, keep the stripes to match the apparatus or be NFPA compliant, I think we are going the NFPA way, god forbid there is an accident and the chevrons aren't red/yellow.

It was a nice evening and the weather was perfect after the heavy rain we had enroute to the training center. The sky was awesome. Again thanks Bill for allowing us out to help out and for me to take some shots. Spanky Dean you make us proud, even if they call you smurf at class.

Bill, click the link below, it's the program that is provided here on BRAVO to reduce the size of the pics so they don't take up some much storage space, part of the program allows the user options of different effects, the program is Irfan View, hope this helps and thanks for the kind words, still trying to figure out the new camera, making strides, umm maybe baby steps is more like it. http://www.emtbravo.net/index.php?showtopic=26915
