  1. Here is a link provided from the Putnam and Northern Westchester Fire Police Association, it's a tribute page to Sonny. Thanks to all that attended his services and helped us out during this tough time, it is greatly appreciated. 3. Well Signman and me went on alittle trip this morning based on a rumor that our 1949 FWD was spotted, we found it, I was pretty sick to my stomach to see her in this condition, I took some shots to share with all here. Man was she some piece of equipment. The next thing to see is if we can get her back home. She is still equipped as the day she left in 1990. The mice have been busy

  7. I know I would, sounds like a good plan to me
  8. Thanks Jimmy, glad you reminded me, I almost forgot, what you changing our trucks to red!!!!
  9. Exactly the same we have heard, bottom line is most dept's have the vests and have been wearing them, so continue to wear them, it's pretty simple. All of our officers have been issued them and there is one in each of our apparatus for every seating position and I also carry a few extra as well. We do have more and will issue them to all "certified" active members so they have their own. I really like what I saw when I visited the Beekman fire station recently, all the gear hanging at the station already had the vest on over the coat, it's the way to go, the same way I have mine.
  10. Looks like a great job by all agencies involved. I have yet to see anyone question why Command called any piece of equipment to the scene. Before this gets into a debate as to why Command called for the equipment he did, here's an idea, ask him when you see him, this is not the place to get into it.
  11. Most of our "active" firefighters have two sets of gear issued, as Josh stated we were lucky enough to get a grant to achieve this as well.
  12. Welcome Mike

  22. Ah don't mind Dan, anyone can have Red Trucks, anyone that goes to a parade and listens to the crowd will really know that they like the other "NON" Red trucks better.
