We had the car bear accident right in front of the former Whitey's garage last fall, bear was also a female weighed in over 300 lbs and to was killed. The thing that bothered me the most about it was all the yahoos taking pictures with it. One of the responding police agenices members was having his picture taken and I said I am sure your Sgt. will love to see these when they get posted on facebook or some other site, he dropped the bear pretty quickly and put his hat on straight.

Yeah they are some serious tires and will be on our rig without the chrome inserts, like these here except the rims will be blue.
-
We can't either, it seems like it has been years since we started the process, only a few more weeks to go and I'll have a bunch more pictures to share of it completed, training and doing some off-roading.

Jason your time will come!
-
Joel no need to apologize man, you were busy just like the rest of us.
-
Hey Phil even got a shot of my ladder I used when pulling down the soffits.
-
Great job by all on the scene, quick and effective knockdown, I believe 69-31 arrived in between 31-15 and 31-11. The foam did a nice job for sure Joel although it got my gear nasty.

Looks like one big culvert pipe, great shots as always Bill, thanks for sharing.

It is with deep regret that I announce the passing of our beloved Chaplain Sonny Cohen on Tuesday August 18, 2009. Sonny was not only our Chaplain but Fire Police Captain and a member of the Board of Directors. Sonny also just retired from being a fire commissioner for the Wassaic Fire District in January. Sonny is well known all over NYS, he has attended so many conferences on fire police, chaplain roles, fire investigation and on and on, he has the thickest training folder at the station. He has been an active member of the fire service for many many years serving in Putnam and Dutchess Counties on the fire police response teams and as a photographer for the Dutchess County Fire Investigation Team. I could go on forever about his great man, he will surely be missed by all of us. Amen Brother Cohen, our closing prayer will never be the same, but it is your time to rest in peace. Thank You Sonny and to everyone that has already contacted us. Services will be held on Thursday August 20, 2009 from 5pm to 9pm at the Hufcut Funeral Home is Dover Plains, with firematic service @ 7pm. Church services will be held at the St. Bernard's Church on New St. in Sharon, Ct on Friday August 21, 2009 @ 10am.
