Josh it is open for those of us that are not EMS side, I signed up for the Tuesday class as they are not holding the EMT class in Wassaic on Monday so I figured those EMT's will most likely do the Monday class.
-
Just to make sure everyone is aware, you only have to attend one of the classes, i.e it is not required to attend both nights in Wassaic, thanks George for getting this information out
-
still openings in this class, however it is filling up quickly

Josh any reason why such a big rear tailboard area, is it to protect the chute when its deployed?

New York State Fire Code: Q. Is premises identification required for all buildings? A. Yes. FC section 505 requires address numbers on all new and existing buildings and that streets and roads shall be identified with appropriate signs. Section 505, also states the letters must be a minimum of 4" in height

Millbrook's new tanker 49-31 was delivered Friday 2/19/10. Its a Spartan/Smeal: 2000 GPM Pump, 2500 Gallon Booster Tank, hydraulic racks for the suction and port-a-tank, 3 -10" dumps with rear being electric. It was cloudy when I shot and as it figures as soon as we finished the sun came out.
-
If you guys come up this way feel free to stop by our house as well, we are about 15 mins from Millbrook's station, our tanker was also built by Smeal too and is on an International Chassis and we can get you drawings and specs as well if needed.

thanks Seth, we are just starting to spec a new engine and was curious how they had the little giant ladder stowed.
-
Seth do you have another shot of the passenger's side front compartment where the little giant ladder is, something alittle closer? Great shots and awesome looking vehicle

Very sad and tragic, we in Dover will miss her, thoughts and prayers to the Ingoglia and the Lopane familes.

Excellent Points Chief. Well being my Company does not have a pension plan and probably will never, nor do I care if I have a blue light, red light or whatever color light they choose to allow us to use to answer your question Dan, no I would still be a member and believe or not there are people out there in the volunteer service that joined just so they can have a light because if you're an active member of a volunteer department then you know that you have members that don't turn out for anything but they ride around with their nice fancy blue light bar on top of their vehicles.

Wassaic Fire and EMS were dispatched to a MVA, upon arrival on scene there was a Welsh Sanitation Recycle Truck and a compact car involved with a diesel fuel spill as the saddle tank was ripped off the truck. RT. 22 was closed for 3 hours as Reps from NYS DEC and DOT accessed the spill and clean-up. Three RMA's were secured.

Yeah the "Spoiled BRAT" is sexy !

Here are a few from one of the previous MVA here in the last ten days
