Firefighter - Application now available Posted Date: 4/17/2014 9:30 PM The Town of Westport will be accepting applications for testing for the position of Firefighter beginning April 18, 2014. At that time, applications will be available from the Town of Westport Personnel Department at 110 Myrtle Ave, Room 208, Westport, CT 06880. The application process will close on May 20, 2014 at 4:30 p.m. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age, a non-smoker, and have a valid driver’s license. Candidate will also need valid EMT and CPAT certifications at the time of appointment. Candidates will also be required to take a written, oral and swimming test.

I would get the Exam Prep book for Firefighighter I & II by Dr. Ben Hirst to prepare for the written test.

Westport Fire Department, Westport, CT will be testing in the fall. Applications available for download at www.westportfirefighters. com. Applications due by 4:30 PM on Monday October 25, 2010. Vista won Best Non-Regulation

Great Job by ALL in the class. Thanks for bearing with us and adapting to the severe weather and malfunctioning burn building. Again, this is still the basics and there are so many more classes to take during your time in the fire service. The FFI and FFII national certification testing is a go for August 1st and 2nd in Westchester. We still have a few openings if you get the applications in by this Friday at Noon to the training center. Info on the website www.emergencyservices.westchestergov.com
