Its not to say that LE is "sitting on their hands" or "not doing their job" that is not what I said. My suggestion was that instead of dealing with the problem after it happens, dealing with it before it happens may be more beneficial. Thats great that your municipality is able to conduct drug investigations on such a scale. But what about departments like Somers PD who have limited powers and arent on 24hrs/ day. I understand that they are supplemented by Troopers, but the Troopers have several other municipalities in northern westchester to deal with...just trying to look at this from a different angle

Instead of taking a reactive approach to the drug overdoses in N westchester by giving pd/fd narcan, whay not take a proactive approach and have law enforcement really crack down on the growing drug use that is happening in these locations? I understand that some of the areas where this has happened have rather small pd's i.e. croton falls somers etc. that is where the county pd needs to come in and support the pd's in combating the problem.

The Yorktown Heights Fire Department will be holding their annual Car Show July 8th from 3-8pm in then rear of their headquarters, in addition the Junior Corps will be running their dunk tank and Chief Martin McGannon and Eric DiBartolo have agreed to go in the dunk tank (seperatly) So come by and try to dunk them!

After the paramedic held everybody hostage at the firehouse, the show kind of went down from there (it got a little crazy) and there was less FD involvement in the show as well.

I know someone who has sirius, and I've heard it before from what I've listened to, it sounds pretty good. But when you buy it the salesperson will tell you it never loses its signal, not true. It doesnt happen often, but when you do lose it, it could take 5-10 minutes to get it back.

2533 has to be my favorite, although I do like pick-ups to. Another one thats really nice is New Rochelles. Suburbans make awesome chief's cars as far as looks go, but you could make do with a Tahoe I'm sure.

I still watch it, sometimes. I liked better when they had more FD involvement, more of a cop show now.
