That was the truck I was looking for. Sharp truck. I applaud them for the manual tranny. VERY rare these days. That being said I was hoping it had bench seats cause mine does, but they have buckets so no help there. But thank you for the link. I cant see an inside shot of the truck from their website. only outside, got any? thanks for the help guys. I gotta figure out what to do. I just dont want to drill into everything. the truck is in immaculate condition. I might have to build a custom box.

wow. 108.5 is nuts. He is lucky he is alive. Incidents like this happen every year to members of emergency services and we need to be aware for ourselves or others. I hope he gets his transplant

When I drive an ambulance for my Volunteer corps I will actually go no lights no sirens even if dispatched priority 1 (lights/siren). all depending on the dispatch. If I am dispatched to something like impending/possible MIs, respiratory arrests, MVCs, drownings, and a few others I will go priority 1. I also take into account the distance to the scene. if its a short trip, I'm not going priority 1. if its long, (up to 15 minutes in my town) I will usually use lights if I am in higher traffic areas, and then shut down if not in high traffic. I also have a lot of old country roads in my town which I would not travel any different in speed. I always get the, "dude its priority 1, what are you doing?" and I usually just have to explain to them my thoughts. all about driving with "due regard."

well said. I agree 100% with you. I was thinking the exact same. But good for NY. I am glad they can use rear facing blues. its a good color and I hope it brings them more safety. period.

Nice work. EMDs are often overlooked, at least in my area they are. They are absolutely first responders and have saved many lives. My buddy even has a EMD sticker that says "i'm always first due"

CTSP uses a Digital radio system. I dont know much about them but scanners for digital systems are big bucks and your app probably doesnt use one.

I have Epocrates. there is a free version which you can use. I think the one i have now is epocrate's essentials. not 100% sure though, my University upgraded my plan for me. It is very good though. Not sure about the spanish part, but it has all the meds you will ever need and at least with my version I can do pill ID, look up medical conditions, and a whole lot more. I know the free version also has drug interactions, pill photo's, routes of administration, doses, black box warnings, methods and percentages of excretion, and a lot more.

I feel bad for nurses lots of the time. they along with everyone involved on a medical team especially in the ER has to deal with a lot of BS from patients especially when they are under the influence/psych/whatever. not to mention the fact that this one in particular now has an increased risk of being exposed to infectious viruses/bacteria/etc. Its a problem shared by lots all over everyday. Cuts to ERs will definitely not help. this case reminds me of the time I observed a patient assault (push) two female nurses pretty violently and tried to make an exit. the security officer (not to insult him) was on the small side and didnt want to make an attempt at stopping the man who was bigger/stronger than him. so my partner and I tackled the man until more security/police arrived.

welcome.

I wonder what that "unknown condition" was. people never cease to amaze me. I dont know how some people think. Kudos to the medics or EMS personnel who pulled him from the ambulance though. Pretty gutsy though. Glad they took action and didnt end up hurt, but I would have reported it to PD and let officers handle it though.

just did a drowning the other day. it was a suicide however. there were people not even 30 yards from her and had no idea she was doing it. it became a body recovery rather than a possible rescue to say the least
