  1. CSF, Those are my only real complaints also. Opening the phone everytime stinks....but they fixed that on the ic902.
  2. Jim, Nice start brother. Call me if you need help getting new pics and/or video for the site. You know the number. CAM
  3. This would be for the new 311 center not Yonkers 911...just FYI.
  4. Don, I do believe the notice you are talking about stated, that they were going to phase out the Iden network in the consumer market over the next 5-10yrs as the CDMA and newer technologies become capable of handling the direct-connect service. The Iden network then is supposed to be used by Government and Private organizations (accounts). Iden is superior for the "walkie-talkie" as compared to CDMA. That is why the Verizon, Cingular, and Sprint "walkie-talkies" never became popular. Iden will be around for a while still.
  5. Ok you already have got most of the info. The 902 is wayyyyyy better than the 502. I have the 502 for only one reason...it was free (Called to tell them I hate Sprint and was going to leave. They gave me a free phone and two months of free service.). As for the battery life problem, if you get the newer powersource battery (the fatter one) I find myself lasting a day or two between charges. On busy days i still get a full day of talk time before it starts to beep.
  6. LOL...in a perfect world maybe.
  7. Best wishes and many years of happiness.

  11. F**K Michael Moore....he will not get one penny from me. He is real good at twisting "facts" so they fit his leftist liberal agenda...I am just shocked how easily people believe his CRAP!
  12. One Engine and One Truck....if it is on one of the highways we will usually add the Rescue to the assignment.
  13. Make sure you send me one. CAM
  14. Very well said!! I encourage all on this board to write an e-mail to your local elected representatives to tell them to vote this through. Also a note to the Governor can't hurt either. Thanks!!!!!!
  15. Demolition Man was such a great movie...lol. I don't think it is there place to tell you that you can't smoke. But if it is a job requirement and you sign up for it....
  16. It sucked...too many loose ends. I think I smell a movie in the future... That show after was pretty good tho. "John from Cincinnati" has potential.
  17. When I heard them say "Today at five" that morning I was thinking "what the...." That night when I turned on my radio it was like things never changed. I was also pleased that they apologized for what has to be one of the biggest radio blunders ever. Wonder how much money they lost?
  18. BULLPOOP....Get me my highspeed internet and let the TV come when it does...lol. They don't have to wait to run the phone and data end of things they are just being slow. But hey they just took down the old backyard lines in my neighborhood, so I guess I should keep paying the cable bill. Anyway enough whining from me tonight. Good luck with the install.
  19. I would just like to state that I am very jealous...lol. As of today FIOS is still not available in New Rochelle. Gee it's only been a year since they said it would be here within six months so I guess I just gotta keep waiting. True QAM!!
  20. Such a big part of the issue...lol. The wall is for those parts of the border with no roads and such. I doubt it would pose an issue for a rig trying to cross the border.
  21. That was gonna be my question. Anybody in the know?
  22. What? Was he a proby, or did he "misuse department time" while writing the song? I'm not defending the words in his song, but I don't see how this should affect his job as a FF.
