This Friday and Saturday the FDMV will hold it annual MDA boot drive from 9am to 5pm both days. This year we will split the proceeds with the hurricane relief fund. It will be on the corner of Broad St. and Fleetwood Ave. in Fleetwood. This is right off the Cross County Exit 7 by the playground. If you are in the area and can spare a buck drive on by and say hi. one of the big problems is that the roads and infastructure are gone. not all but enough where you can't get buses through.

Well, well, well. Someone started talking about wings earlier and the question came up: Who makes the hottest wings around?. Well, I don't really have an answer but I do know that if they don't make your eyes tear and your nose run, then they ain't hot enough!! Any opinions on where to go for some fire?

Anybody have any info if any of the westchester cities or the city are testing for a mechanic's job?? Is that a tested position?? A buddy of mine has been workin on buses for a while and wanted to try to get on with a FD.

Well sure... Station 1 - 470 E Lincoln Ave. - Ladder 2 and Engine 6 It is also HQ with Car 1, Car 1A, Car 3, and Car 5 (Fire prevention). Station 2 - 431 S Fulton Ave. - Engine 5, Rescue 1, County Squad 3, Support Unit, Foam 1, Marine 1, and it is also home to the FDMV Mechanic Shop (Car 7). Also a spare Engine. Station 3 - 50 W 3rd St. - Ladder 3, Engine 3, Car 8 (Training), and the Battalion. Tower Ladder 1 is stored here along with Car 6 (The Fire Alarm Bureau truck) Station 4 - 9-11 Oak St. - Engine 2 and Engine 4 Well I think thats it. Hope it helped.
