Date: 11-12-05 Time:0800 Box: 1627 Location: 701 Lenox Ave X West 145 St Frequency: 154.250 Units Operating: Multiple Description Of Incident: Fire in 4 story brick with a store and apartments above. Staging area is West 145th St. X Powell Blvd. Writer: CAM502 0851- Car 7 reports 5 handline strched and operating. Heavy fire on 1st and 2nd floors with extension to wall and stairwells. All units are pulling out from floors 3 & 4. Fire is Doubtful. S/C 2 trucks. 0905- Car 7 reports Heavy fire thru the roof. All members are pulling out of building. Setting up Tower Ladders.

Date: 11/2/05 Time:0805 (time of 3rd alarm) Location: Box 0571 422 W15th St Frequency: 154.250 (Dispatcher 195 on the air...K.) Units Operating: The 3rd alarm assignment was: Engines 16, 65, 54, 55. Ladders 7 and 2. Batt. 1- 3rd alarm chief, Batt. 4- Staging. Division 3 was sepcial called for the 14th St side. Also Cars 22A, 12, 12B, and 11A. Mask Service Unit and Field Comm. Description Of Incident:I missed the begining but around 0805 Manhattan asked for a progress report and got transmit the 3rd alarm Heavy fire on number 5 floor. 2 Hand line streched and operating. 0810- Special call another Deputy Chief to set up ops on 14th St side. 0815- Division 1 reports heavy fire on number 5 and 6 floors. 3 Tower Ladders in operation. Begining to set up from the 14th St side. 0821- Chief Meyers reports: Heavy fire still on 5 and 6 floors. 3 Towers in operation. Searches are suspended due to fire condition. 3rd alarm units are operating on the 14th St side. Fire is Doubtful. 0827- Air Recon Chief is in the air, 6 min ETA. 0833- Field Comm reports - Chief Hill reports: The fire is in a 7 story brick 200x200 parking garage with autos burning. Fire is begining to darken down. 3 towers still in operation. Preping the Handlines to go back in. This Fire is still Doubtful. 0845- Field Comm reports - Air Recon reports: Fire coming out of the trench cuts. 0847-Field Comm reports - Chief Meyers reports Still have fire on 3 floors and coming out through vent holes. It is begining to darken down. 3 Towers on Exp 1 side, 2 Heavy Duty Handlines on Exp 3 side. Fire is still Doubtful. 0858- Field Comm requests PD to 14th St side for Problems with civilians. Also one member has been transported for a broken ankle. 0910- Special Call 2 Engines (E5, E8) 0913- Field Comm reports- Chief Meyers reports Exterior lines were shut down for a survey. Multiple cars still burning. Exterior lines have been put back in operation. Members from the S/C engines are to secure the rigs and walk in to the command post. ( Side note: I missed some of what is going on but the 37 Battalion just gave a size up for some other job in Manhattan.) 0935?? - I missed the transmission but the 4th alarm has been transmitted and Manhattan is operating at Fallback Step 3. 1017- Chief Hayden Reports: Partial collapse of the # 5 and 6 floors at the Exp 2and 3 corner. Collapse zone has been established. This fire is still Doubtful. ( NY1 has some decent coverage and the last live shot still had fire through the roof.) Writer: CAM502

I'm not 100%, but would assume you would need to have a scanner (positioned locally) with some fancy outputs. Hook it into your sound card and set up a WAV capture program of sorts. And if you want to get different departments then you should have a dedicated scanner for each (so you don't miss anything good). So, no not from florida...unless you set it up at home and mirror it...and get someone you know to fix it when it crashes..and well no probably not from FL.

Hey what happened to the "Bravo Orange" skin? Really liked that one. For anyone that is scratching there heads right now the skin is on the bottom right and it changes the way the page looks.
