They are a private organization, not run by NYS. I talked with a man who claimed was the owner of the company. Now, by a Network, lets look at the EMTBravo NETWORK. Its not set to any particular state, county, or region anymore. It is only REGISTERED to a domain. Besides, sr71 is a friend, and I only made that comment to bust his chops!
-
Well the vehicles are probably registered in NJ!
-
This organization had 3 vehicles there. The Excursion, the Expedition, and something that looked to be a Chevy Astrovan, all outfitted with red lights, and they all left the hospital Code 3. I only caught the last of the vehicles leaving, and I got a bad video taken from my camera phone (same as the pictures) because I felt retarded for leaving my camera home by accident that particular day.

Amen! Kind of like the color of fire apparatus. But that is a different thread!

Don't mean to sound like a dick, but I think that is a given. They operate and maintain the TSP, and can use it as they see fit.

This link brings you to one single picture bro! I am really interested to see your other photos, I love aviation photography! Please fix so I can enjoy, lol!!!!!

Haha, yea, pretty sure that last one is "aerial device".

I am not sure whether or not the batteries provided enough "juice" to produce electrolysis. This procedure actually DOES work with enough electricity. I did it in my 8th grade science class as an experiment (yes it was part of the lesson plan, I didn't just throw electrical current into water, lol!). There was a beaker filled with water, and an inverted catch-basin, if you want to call it that, above the beaker. As the gases were produced, they built up ABOVE the beaker (Hydrogen is lighter than air, i.e. Hindenberg and other airships of days yore.....). A when ignited, a nice flash was produced!

Actually, through a little web searching one day, I believe I found evidence this claim might be incorrect. City of Beacon http://www.beaconfd.org/ Beacon Engine Co. Lewis-Tompkins Hose Co. Mase H&L Co.

I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend anyone who has those chain systems on their apparatus (fire AND/or EMS rigs) to use them AT LEAST ONCE before an emergency situation. Knowing "how they work" and knowing "how to work them" are 2 different things!!
-
Amen!! I am glad someone noticed this. Unfortunately, I did not even consider such a thing, but you are more than correct brother!!

I'm definitely game. Think I would have to go brush the dust, and rust, and corrosion off the trumpet first, lol!! i do miss playing, and would love to get back into it!!!

The saddest part of it all, is that lightweight construction IS a good thing..... For contractors and homeowners that is. Pre-engineered structural members that are designed to support loads of high rated quantities, they ARE strong. BUT.... They are NOT designed with fire safety in mind. As soon as fire/heat is introduced, they are compromised, and as we all know, one portion of the system of trusses fail, the whole truss fails. So, from an economical POV, they are superior to conventional construction, but from a fire service POV, they are killers in hiding!!

You guys suck.
-
Huh, what? I have NO idea what you are talking about!!
-
It happens. Oh well. No one was hurt, and I am sure they didn't get away with it. People forget they are called ACCIDENTS for a reason.
-
Haha, agreed! Now THAT is taking buffing to a whole new level!!!
