All of East Fishkill's tankers were originally built by EEI, on an International chassis. Over a period of 2 years, all 3 tankers went out for refurb by US Tanker, from 2500 gallon capacity, to 3000 gallon capacity, and pump capacity from 450, to I BELIEVE 700, or 750gpm. Unfortunately, this is the only picture I could find readily available before refurb:

To quote an "inside source": "A can of spray insulation was covered in debris, and it blew up in the faces of the investigators and one of the CVFD guys"

East Fishkill dispatched for a reported structure fire. First arriving unit (1st Assistant Chief) 39-2 reporting working fire. First in crew encountered a room and contents; the room fully involved, self vented, beginning extension out window up to eaves and into attic, and extending just outside of door into hallway. The main body k/d in under 5, overhaul and checking for extension proved negative results. Aggressive attack kept this from extending beyond the room of origin. Good job guys! Yes, i have seen a couple reviews of this product on another forum I am on. It is to emergency warning equipment, what EMTBravo is to the buffs here. Like a day in Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory. Unfortunately, the site is currently down (due to aftereffects of Hurricane Ike) but I shall post reviews once they get back online.

This thread has served its purpose. There is no more need to argue over whose fault it was, or what broke, or who saw what. Unless something new arises (i.e. the boat is located) this thread is closed. I don't think anyone can add any more value to this thread than has already been posted.

Going along with what everyone else has said I dropped Nextel a month ago for Verizon. I was only 6 months into my 2nd, 2 year contract, but I was so fed up with it. I miss the 2way function, but I appreciate the better reception, cheaper plan, more services for a lower price, and a bigger discount thatn I had for Nextel. Overall, I am very happy I went to Verizon.

I was sitting in AP Chem, Senior year in HS. The hall monitors were walking around handing out notes to all the teachers, and my teacher said "Yea, I know, I already heard." Of course, I just thought it was something like a teacher's meeting scheduled or something. Then, 4th period, I was in lunch, the principal came over the PA, and announced about the tragedies. My HS, like most others, the cafeteria was probably the loudest place on earth. The eeriest part, was you coul dhave heard a pin drop for a good 20 minutes, during, and after the principal's announcement. From there, I went to my next class a little early, and my teacher was in his office listening to the radio, so I sat down and listened along. I asked him to give me the rundown on what was happening. I was either in shock/disbelief, but at that point, I had not known the towers were gone. I had been thinking just one got hit. Thats when he told me; "No, they're gone. They're both gone." And one of the other music teachers was frantic on the phone trying to call her ex husband, who worked nowhere else than in WTC Bldg. 1.

Yea, there is quite a bit of out of date information there. Don't know the last time it was updated.
