Wonder if Yonkers has any production delay penalties written in their contract (they would be smart if they did)? The version of the contract I saw had $100.00 day after one year or agreed to delivery date.

My best wishes for a speedy recovery and to getting back to work ASAP!

"From 2013 WCDES Annual Report DES took part in a regional initiative as a member of the NYC UASI and purchased a Medical Evacuation Transportation Unit (METU) bus, along with our regional partners in New York City, Yonkers and the counties of Nassau and Suffolk. These vehicles were procured with federal grant funds and will be made available to urban area members when needed in an emergency."

Was there any thought to helping the trooper instead of recording?
-
Where is the firehouse in the Hellman's commercial located?

I thought it would take a while to get an answer .

Nice work by the troopers! I agree it looks like they kicked the hat out of the way. This time video shows police handled it the right way.

I know nothing about Peekskill and the first paragraph is very confusing.

TONITE!!!

A few weekends past I heard them on the radio assisting tarrytown.

I will say my first thought was "why did they go to the fire floor in the elevator"? I trust every first responder knows that not what should be done. This was a life and death decision they made. 999 times out of 1,000 there is no issue. Police Officers are truly the "first" first responders due to the nature of the job. It's "Monday Morning" and my guess is they will tell you, they shouldn't have done what they did.

No, no, no. Maybe I wasn't clear. Every tread ends up being a rant and complaint about politics and how we need to regionalize, mis-abuse of mutual aid, yada, yada, yada. The main question is how long FAST should stay on scene. I don't expect a simple answer at all. People with a lot more knowledge than me can answer the question and give all the pros and cons. I don't live in a bubble. I know there are issues. Please answer the questions and strike up intelligent conversation. See that, hijacked again.

Most treads are high jacked! We can't just answer the question asked. It's not about what to do the right way ---- It's always about what we are doing the wrong way!

There are devices available to keep the ambulance running. We have a simple button on the dashboard. Push the button, turn the key to the off position and pull out the key. The rig stays running. Get back in the rig, insert the key and off you go. Anyone who jumps in and steps on the brake to take the truck out of park causes the engine to shutoff.

Watching report on CNN. Is this a new story?

Found out it was from November 2013. Anthony Bourdain report. Only saw part of it. Gonna try and find it on You Tube.
